Thalia's POV

Thalia rested her head on Reyna's shoulder as they sat under a tree during their lunch break. Annabeth sat with them, nervously scribbling around in her sketchbook.

"What's wrong Annie?" She asked Annabeth, not bothering to open her eyes.

"I- I don't know Thals. Percy really scared me when he did the whole "catching a bullet" routine and I got mad at him." Annabeth replied.

"And...?" Reyna chuckled, though Thalia could sense how nervous she was without Percy around.

Of course, they all knew that Percy was safe and sound, staying in the Shack until Luke got arrested.

Thalia did have to admit that it was a good plan. Percy faked his death, because he knew that the kid with the eyepatch would go running off to Luke, telling him that Percy was dead.

Then it was all up to Luke's inflated ego, which would most likely cause him to walk right up to them and tease them, which was when the NCIS would take over and arrest him.

"Well I yelled at him," Annabeth began, pulling Thalia out of her thoughts. "And... well we haven't talked since. Oh gods what if he hates me?"

Reyna laughed, which almost caused Thalia's heart to melt. Reyna's laugh was so melodic, so beautiful and calming. Much like her, it was perfect.

Thalia had never understood why Reyna would ever call herself a mess, while calling Thalia a work of art. It just didn't make sense to her.

If anything, Reyna was the work of art, with her perfect posture and grades, her well sculpted muscles and her dark brown eyes. Just looking at Reyna made Thalia's heart beat faster.

"Annabeth, Percy could never hate you, but you should probably apologise to him. I think he thinks you hate him now." Reyna replied.

"What? Why would he ever think that?" Annaberg exclaimed.

"Because they're boys." Reyna chuckled.

"They're?"

"Nico and Percy. They're a lot more similar than they'd like to admit. Nico is convinced that Will hates him, and Percy doesn't think you want anything to do with him anymore." Reyna explained. "Boys are weird, it's why I like girls. You don't reply within ten minutes and they think you hate them, at least with those two that's the case."

"When I'm reality, all Annie wants to do is Percy." Thalia joked.

"Watch it, Grace. You're on some thin fucking ice." Annabeth growled.

"Nothing scares me anymore. I have my hot, badass bodyguard here." Thalia sighed happily, patting Reyna's leg affectionately. She could practically hear Reyna rolling her eyes at her.

"Don't deny it, Chase, you've fallen for my brother." Reyna teased.

"Yes, I have ok? I've fucking accepted my fate." Annabeth groaned.

"Leave it to the book loving, slightly nerdy girl to fall for him." Reyna laughed. "You do know that motherfucker one ate pancakes using his sword cuz there weren't any knives left right?"

At this, all three burst out laughing, something that hadn't occured in what felt like an eternity, but Sally was doing great and was going to leave the hospital soon, and they were on the verge of putting Luke in prison forever, so they finally let a slight hint of happiness creep back into their lives.

"Of course he did." Annabeth sighed, not sounding the least but surprised.

"Hey..." a familiar voice spoke carefully.
