Travis' POV
"TRAVIS STOLL!" Travis laughed as he got up, running out of the shack and fleeing from the girl he loved, and loved annoying.
This time, he may have accidentally changed the sound of Katie's alarm on her phone to an air raid siren, put the volume on maximum, woken up everyone else, apart from Percy and Annabeth, who were missing, and watched as the chaos unfolded.
It definitely wasn't his best prank on her, not by a long shot, but it was one of the best he could have come up with, with the limited resources and time he had.
He'd bought himself some time by shutting the door behind him as he ran out, and used that time to climb onto the roof, where he found Annabeth and Percy.
Annabeth was wearing a black hoodie, which was way too big for her, with a figure of a swimmer coming out of the water mid-stroke and the name "Jackson" written across her shoulder.
Already sharing hoodies, huh? Travis thought to himself with a chuckle.
Then, he realised they both had mugs with what seemed like hot chocolate, which only caught his eye because he'd just seen Reyna and Thalia in the kitchen with ones as well.
"How the hell did you get hot chocolate up here without anyone noticing?" He asked, sitting down so that he couldn't be seen from the ground.
"You do realise I spent time training with assassins, right?" Percy laughed. "Hiding from Katie again?"
Travis nodded and Annabeth groaned, hitting her head against Percy's shoulder, who chuckled.
"Travis, what did you do this time?" She asked.
"Well I might have made her alarm to an air raid siren and turned it up to full volume." Travis replied, causing Percy to laugh.
"So you came up here to hide." Percy concluded. "What's to stop us from pushing you off and telling her where you are?" He added, gesturing down to Katie, who was running around yelling his name.
"Ah, right, I interrupted the date, didn't I?" Travis teased, but then instantly regretted it when Annabeth grabbed his arm, pulling him up.
"Katie! He's up here!" She called.
Katie looked up towards them and Travis couldn't help but admire how beautiful she looked, even when she was incredibly angry at him.
"Ah fuck." Travis groaned, managing to slip out of Annabeth's grip and leaping off of the roof.
He was about to start running when he tripped over the tree root he could've sworn hadn't been there when he landed, but he fell to the floor, pain flaring up in his left ankle.
"SON IF A BITCH!" He yelled, hoping it was just a scratch and not an actual injury, as he had both a basketball and a soccer game coming up.
"If I wasn't so mad at you I might just be worried about your knee." Katie growled. "I mean, I'm actually disappointed. That's one of the worst ones you've ever pulled."
"Good to know that you keep a list of how good or bad my pranks are, Katie-Kat." Travis chuckled, stumbling slightly as he got up.
"You better not be injured. I cancelled all of my plans with Miranda just so I can watch you play next week." Katie said.
"Aww thanks." Travis couldn't help but smile. He'd never admit it, but Katie coming to his games was possibly the most inspiring thing ever. "But it might actually be sprained."
He knew who to ask, and began hobbling back towards the entrance of the shack.
"Oh no you don't. I might not be a doctor but I know you shouldn't be putting weight on that." Katie said, wrapping an arm just under his shoulder and supporting his weight.
