My family isn't anywhere near perfect.

I mean, I have both of my parents and a little sister, but it isn't what I want.

I want parents that support me through anything and everything. I want them to praise me when I get a good test grade, be mad at me because I didn't try hard enough to get a better score. I want them to be there for me when I need a shoulder to cry on, a hug to feel better, or just be someone there that I can talk to.

But I guess we don't always get what we want, do we?

He, on the other hand, has a perfect family.

Or what is as close to perfect can get.

He has supportive parents. He does get praised when he gets a good test score. He has parents that push him to do better when he doesn't push himself. He has people there for him when he needs a shoulder to cry on, a hug whenever he needs one, or just someone to talk to.

He got what everyone wants.

I guess that's what it seems like from an outside perspective.
