Alexander pov

I invited inspector josh and told him about everything

" We will have to send hazel , that's the easiest way to get to rose " inspector josh said , I can't put hazel life in danger, she was so scared , I was about to put her to sleep

" Alex you are so difficult"  inspector josh said

" Oh yes ,I'm difficult,you don't expect me to leave hazel to rose,she is not some kind of bait " I shouted , I was already fustrated

" Try to understand Alex" he said

" No no no , hazel is going no where" I said pacing

" I will go" hazel's angelic voice said from behind me, I stopped pacing and looked at her ,she still looks sleepy

" No you will not " I said walking towards her , I touched her hand and found out she was buring hot

" Omg hazel you are buring up" I shouted

" Let get you back to bed cupcake" I said taking her back but she stopped me then started to make her way towards josh

" I will go ,my mom's and Alex life is in danger and I can't risk that " she said , I ran my hand through my hair, why is she doing this if something happens to hazel I won't be able to take it

" Okay it settled let get back to the plan " inspector josh said as everyone gathered around the table, for the so called plan

" Alex " hazel called placing her hot hands on mine , she now looked pale , inspector josh was giving orders to the other officers

" I will be okay " she whispered , I gave her a soft smile and nodded, I checked the time,it was already 10 pm , I have to get hazel back to sleep , we have a long day tommorow

" Let get you to bed " I said standing up then helped her to her feets

She was now , laying on the bed with the blanket coving her

" I love you Alex " she suddenly said looking at me , I smiled and placed a cold towel on her head

" Why are you saying this now ?" I asked cupping her cheeks

" We don't know what will happen tomorrow , I just want you to know that I love you " I said ,her eyes where already glossy with unshaded tears

" Nothing will happen to you cupcake" I whispered then kissed her forehead, she smiling and closed her eyes to sleep
