Hazel pov

Five years later

" Mommy I want ice cream" rainbow kept shouting, I looked down at my five year old daughter ,she looks exactly like her father
They had the same eyes,nose and the same hair color

" Mommy " she shouted again

" You won't be getting any ice cream today , now leave my kitchen" I said trying to make dinner

" Mummy doesn't like me only daddy does" rainbow said walking towards the kitchen door,she knows I hate it when she says that so she is trying to paly smart with me

" Nice try bow not gonna work" I said washing the fresh fish, I decided to make something with fish cos bow loves Sea food

" Mummy please" she begged but I can't continue watching her get fat everyday,she has to slim down and Alex is not helping matter, he buys things for her on his way home , we've fought about this so many times now and all he says is

" She is a princess and she needs to be treated like one "

Bow walked towards the fridge and opened it she was too short to reach the ice cream, I just smiled and focused on making dinner

" I'm home" Alex voice came from outside
Bow closed the fridge and ran out shouting " daddy"
I scoffed and continue making dinner ,after some time I felt Alex's strong arms around my waist

" Hey cupcake" he whispered in my ear kissing my neck , I smiled  leaning on his chest

" What did you get her this time xander?" I asked chopping some Bell peppers

" Chocolate cake" he replied sucking and bitting my neck ,I tried very hard to keep my morns in , I got out of his hold and faced him , he looked shocked and hurt

" xander look at bow ,she is too far for her age ,she is just five and you keep on feeding her calories,if she get used to this ,it will be hard for her when she is older"  I said crossing my arms around my chest

" I can't believe this is happening again hazel,I thought we've talked about this " xander said removing his tie

" Yes and we agreed on less calories more veggies right" I said ,he rolled his eyes

" Don't roll your eyes on me babe , she is fat and needs to go on a diet" I shouted ,there was silent in the kitchen until we hear soft sobbing, I looked towards the entrance to see rainbow crying ,she has chocolate all over her mouth

" Mummy said I am fat" she cried , making me feel guilty ,I don't mean for her to hear that ,bow dropped the cake on the table and ran out
Alex gave me a disappointed look and said

" Look at what you've done hazel" he said and ran after bow

I was speechless , I signed and focused on making dinner even if I may have to eat alone tonight

Alexander and bow had dinner with me which was surprising and bow insisted I put her to sleep

I was now in her room, trying to get her to sleep

" Mummy,I'm sorry" bow suddenly said looking up at me

" Sorry for what baby?" I asked in a whisper

" I won't eat so much calories again , I want to slim down for mummy" she said , I was so happy , I got down and hugged her tight to me

" Okay baby, now go to sleep" I whispered , she closed her eyes and after some time, she was sleeping

I covered her with her blanket and switched off the light, I closed the door gently and made my way to Alex and I bedroom

He was sitting on the bed working on his laptop

" Hey thank you for talking to bow" I whispered getting on the bed next to him , he looked at me and smiled, he closed his laptop and broght me closer

I was now resting on his hard chest as his fingers drew circle on my waist

" Thank you hazel" Alex suddenly said breaking the silence, I looked up at his and smiled

" For what?" I asked

" For giving me a family"  he replied, I smiled and kissed him on the lips

" Just a that ?" He asked

" I'm tired Alex,I had a long day, good night" I whispered then closed my eyes

" Good night cupcake " Alex whispered back after kissing my forehead
