For a long time, there was only darkness and the hazy feeling of falling. No voice, no name, no time, nothing.

Soobin was dimly aware of whatever he was experiencing now, but somehow he didn't really care. He fell through time and space, wind rushing past him like a flashback of his life. A strong pulling sensation jerked him and he felt himself change directions through the directionless space. All he could hear after a while were slow, churning whispers in the air that ran by, and within them the syllabus of a name, drawn before a roar overcame it and then silence as he continued on.

Rain.

Why was there rain?

Soobin's eyes shifted under his eyelids, feeling slightly unnatural. Light splatters landed on his face as the wind now quietly blew by. He was slowing down now, floating through wherever he was.

Something was becoming into one. He could feel the coldness of the rain, the little speckles of it that rolled off and tickled his neck. He could feel the air alive and pure, entering his body and leaving. He could feel warmth. He could feel a presence, guiding him gently below, towards the speck of light at the bottom.

An impact with something and yet a soft thud ripped through his body.

One eye blinks open and instead of the dark, bright light blinded his vision, though it didn't hurt him. Slowly, pixel by pixel, the colours came alive and the distorted image of his surrounded entered both his blurry eyes.

Soobin.

That was the name that was uttered by the wind that called out to him. His name.

His eyelids started to fall again.

His breathing slowed and he felt his brain shutting down once more, the coolness of the rain his face disappearing, numbing. His head lolled to the side before he could register anything else. Soobin drew back into the darkness.

A passing light. So bright, it nearly brightened up whatever space Soobin had retreated back to rest forever. The boy reached out, his hand desperately clenching around the ball of light on its own.

A sharp, heavy intake of breath as Soobin's eyes blew open and his body jerked back into the present, to the world.

Through the depths of his blurry memory, a face popped out, worried, crying, in despair.

Yeonjun.

Soobin got up, the grogginess slipping away by the second and looked around.

The window on his right was open, the curtains fluttering in the wind as the rain from the storm splattered in, soaking the table as well as a small portion of the bedsheet and his face in its wetness.

White presented itself throughout the whole room as vintage and pale coloured objects dotted around.

"What the fuck just happened?" Soobin muttered.

The moment the knife entered Soobin's chest and he dropped to the floor, Yeonjun's breath got heavier.
