"Dude, why are there so many people?" Yeonjun asked again as he slowed down to take in everything. There were more people here than usual and more houses were occupied in the Rent street were occupied.

Rent street was for angels who had come temporarily for a rest, you could say it was kind of like a motel of sorts. The part of the area was always casted in a nightly glow so that Angels could sleep anytime the wanted.

But now the usually dark rooms were brightly lit with lights shining in them and angels milling around. Not just any angels, they were doctors and nurses which was weird because they didn't work around here nor did he ever see them stay here before.

"For the hundredth time, we called them back!" Changbin snapped, and then apologized for his bad temper. "Things have been hella crazy since last night. I haven't got a wink of sleep running around."

"But why is it crazy? What's going on?" Yeonjun hurriedly asked as he jogged to catch up to his smaller friend who speed walked through the streets.

"Before everyone was called back by the MOA (Minster of Angels), there was a strange wind here that felt like bad energy. The Library of Souls had apparently been broken into and something was set up, which is what the above are trying to figure out."

Changbin stopped and panted.

"And then what happened?"

"And then..." Changbin stood straight again, continuing his walk and turning around the corner. "We found a black hole kind of thing in the middle of the Library, releasing black specks of dust. We didn't know what it was and the 9 shelfs surrounding it containing more than twenty thousand soul bottles had been infected."

"What do you mean infected?"

"You know how the contents of the soul is invisible to us expect the librarians? Apparently, there were dark matter growing inside the glass!"

"All twenty thousand of them?"

"Yes, some more than the others,"

"What's happen next, that's all?" Yeonjun asked.

Changbin turn to look at him, eyes showing slight fear. "The dark matter looked like it was harmless and we didn't know either. The Librarians hypothesized since the dark matter was getting infused with the souls of the guardians, something might happen."

"We didn't know what but then at that moment, the sirens sounded, which meant the spirit realm door had opened and something that was not Angel came through. We ran there and oh my god you should have seen the angel that had stumbled through the door."

"What?" Yeonjun asked.

"Half of his body looked like he was drenched in petrol and his eyes didn't seem to be able to focus on anything! It was like something was growing inside of him."

"Is he the only-"Yeonjun started to ask again but as the walked out of the alleyway and rounded the corner, the sight of the village square stole his words.

What was once a beautiful and lush empty space, where Angels enjoyed was now occupied by rows and rows of bodies laid down and black soaked sheets covering them. Some where getting treated by the various doctors and nurses wearing full body protections. Some sat up and drank potions, someone coughed and some looked dead.

"What the fuck..." Yeonjun swore and nearly vomited at the gruesome sight of the injuries.

'Come on no time to look anymore, we need to meet the Head," Changbin urgently said as he looked at his watch.

"Of course, let's hurry over now,"

As the ran through the town , the number of people dwindled, and Changbin explained that there had been a stay home notice issued out to prevent contraction of the disease since they weren't sure if there was a probability of wide spreading virus.
