He watched as George made his way off the ice, still skating as elegantly as before.  Making it hard for Dream to keep his eyes off of him.

Though when George eventually closed the door behind him to the locker rooms, Dream managed to regain focus. he got about a good 30 minutes goal shooting, and sharp turns, before the rest of his team came out the same door which George had recently left through.

The flock of hormonal teens in their massive hockey gear made their way onto the ice. Including Nick, Dreams best mate, but the others just called him Sapnap. The gave each other the same small chest bump as usual, and made small talk about practice today, before Dreams dad came barging in.

"HEY BOYS, NO TIME FOR CHIT CHAT TODAY, WE HAVE ALOT TO GET THROUGH"

The boys whispered between each other, the sound of their skates drowning it out, all of them trying to figure out what the hell their coach was talking about, but nobody had any answers before coach was on the ice with them.

"I can see many of you are confused, but the Vipers coach asked if we wanted to play a friendly match soon, for some stupid charity event, and I couldn't say no to preparing my boys for competition season" He said, giving out a small chuckle.

This was followed by a bunch of groans and sighs from the boys, as the would be playing against their rivals, The Vipers, for no apparent reason.

"When's the match, and when are they arriving?" Sapnap asked leaning up against his hockey stick, before Dreams dad could continue.

"Well, The Vipers are arriving Friday evening, but the match is first on Monday. So we've got 3 full days practice, if we don't count Thursday which is your school day, till the game."

This was followed by a louder bunch of groans and sighs. Not only did the team have to play against their rivals for absolutely nothing, they would also have to listen to them and their obnoxious asses for 4 extra days.

"I know, I know, they arrive pretty early, but it's because apparently when it's a charity event, you need to have an icebreaker party a few days before, for good measure" Their coach continued, not being very happy about the situation himself.

This did seem to brighten the mood between the players a bit.

"But enough of that, you guys know what to do, start your warm-up drills"

And that's exactly what they did. Dream joined the rest of the team who were sprinting back and forth on the ice.

Dream never liked this part of training, because he would always end up focusing on something dumb, like a single strand of hair which was in his face, or the fact the one of his socks was pulled up higher than the other.

But not today, the second he was done receiving instructions, or listening to his friends talk, his mind would wonder right back to George, and his beautiful chestnut eyes.

He would wonder what George was doing right now or think about how his skin glittered under the rink lights, while waiting in line for goal practice.

Sapnap seemed to catch on pretty quick, because Dream couldn't help but keep a close eye on the clock, counting down the minutes before 3:30 when practice ended so he could go and see George again.

"Dude, you good? It's like your minds in a different place?" Sapnap said giving him a little nudge.

"Um.... yeah" Dream said, snapping back to reality, shrugging off Nicks comment, and skating away.

After a few more drills coach finally said it was time for lunch.

All the boys sat down in the stands, taking off the largest layers of their gear, before heading up to the café for lunch. It was only 1 in the afternoon, but Dream couldn't help but look out the windows, to check if George was among the many figure skaters that had taken over the ice, since they left.

"Dude, you've known me for too long, I know when somethings up, TELL ME" Sapnap said, basically begging at this point.

This happened often, Sapnap would beg Dream for something, and Dream would easily give in. That's how it had always been, since they were children. It was how they knew everything about each other, there were no secrets between them.

Sapnap knew that Dream liked both boys and girls, but there was still something that felt off about it, it may have been his dad who was watching him in the corner, or just the fact that Dream hadn't liked any men in that way, who weren't celebrities.

"Ok, Sap, I just don't wanna talk about it here with all the other guys, so meet me at our spot, 10PM tonight, ok?" Dream answered under his breath so the others wouldn't hear.

"OOooOh Dweam, you're so mysterious" Sap answered in his funny voice.

"oh my god stop it" Dream said laughing together.

Dreams dad stood up, to gain the boys attention yet again.

"OK, PUT YOUR TRAYS BACK IN THE KITCHEN, LUNCH IS OVER"

He was right, it was now 1:45 only and hour and fifteen left, and for the first time in a while, Dream has something to look forward to after practice, other than gaming with Sapnap.

If he was being honest with himself, it felt nice.
