Stepping into the small cottage that Greyson and I were supposed to be sleeping in for the next week made my heart stop. It was small but stunning. The inside and outside of the small home reminded me of a log cabin. Wood decorated the walls of the interior and exterior.

As I stood there admiring the cottage while Greyson talked to Maxwell. Eve had run off somewhere. I didn't really have a problem with it.

Before I really knew what was happening, Greyson laced our fingers together and started pulling my up some stairs.

At the top of the stairs were a bathroom and a cute, little master bedroom. I wanted to squeal like an idiot and bellyflop onto the bed, but I just smiled to myself as I let go of Greyson's hand and sat down on the bed. I ran my hand across the quilt that had a funny design on it as Max and Greyson laughed at me.

"I'll take it you like the place?" Max asked. I nodded.

The house reminded me of when I was little. The house I grew up in was much larger than the small cottage, but it still felt warm and cozy; like a home. I craved this feeling for years. When I was with Karissa and the rest of them, it was almost the same feeling, but with Greyson it felt like I was back.

I froze when I heard the door from downstairs open, but calmed down when I heard the voice of the person scream up the stairs.

"Max?" Eve shouted.

"Up here, Evie!" Soon after he shouted, we heard feet pounding as she ran up the stairs. Eve walked in and my heart beat instantly sped up. In her hands was a blanket, but in the blanket is what made my heart speed up.

"I didn't know you had a kid." I said pointing out the baby in her hands. She seemed so young. She couldn't be much older than I.

"Oh, yeah." She said.. "It was a really big suprise." She chuckled nervously. I nodded and didn't ask another question. I knew she was uncomfortable about me asking.

Maxwell took the baby out of her hands and held it close to him. His large hand patted the baby's back. I assumed by the red plaid shirt and little jeans the baby was wearing that it was a boy.

"That's Drake." Greyson said motioning toward the infant.

"Oh."

"Wanna hold him?" Maxwell asked and I froze.

No.

The child didn't seem to be very old. He was very small. What if I scratch him? Or drop him? What if a sneeze and accidentally throw him across the room?

"Sure.." I dragged out. I can't remeber the last time I held a child younger than Riley. And besides, I've hit Riley harder than a wreaking ball. Nothing can hurt that child.

Max placed the baby in my hands and the first thing I noticed were his striking blue eyes. Blue?

"Blue eyes?" I said looking at the two brown-eyed parents in front of me.

"My mother has blue eyes." She said as she smiled down at the baby boy in my arms.

Drake looked exactly like his dad besides the nose. It was definatley his mom's. The chesnut hair laid on the top of his head just like it did on his father's. I couldn't stop the smile that crept onto my face as I stared at the baby.

"Hi Drake." I said quietly. He just stared at me like an alien, but I didn't stop. "You look like your daddy." I said. His little blue eyes watched me as I spoke to him. "It's kinda scary." I whispered. Eve burst out laughing as I looked up at them.

"That's what I said!" She laughed. Greyson just watched with amusement in his eyes as I spoke to Drake. I still kept wondering how old Eve and Maxwell were.
