What is torture?
Is it setting a misquote free in a manikin factory
Eating a piece of pizza in front of your dog
Loving the lover who wants nothing more than see you drop dead?
Torture isn't pins or needles
Its being locked away from pure emotion
I look forward to nothing but the torture
After all
I loved you so much
I learned to take your torture and twist it into love
I look for you in every man
The same way you leave me empty for days
You come back right when I'm on the edge of jumping
I feel for that coldness in their touch
So cold snowflakes replace their saliva
Icicles fill the spot where their tongue should be
The same way you made me believe my heart was untouchable
Oh, but it wasn't
When you touched it
I was the one who became ice cold
So
Take your fucking pins and needles
And sculpt your next frozen duplicate
Maybe she will fit the mold better than me
