Have you ever noticed the reason a tornado is so hard to look away from is that
It has a deadly hypnotic quality to it
Showing obedience by giving into the mesmerizing spiral
Letting it occupy both your fight and flight
You can't listen to your own instincts telling you to run
It's a full speed engine so defining its silent to the point of being almost mind numbing
I think in a way we all feel like storm chasers
Most of us suffer from tunnel vision
We graze freely on deaths open gestures
We ride full speed on the highway to hell
To take a one way cloud tunnel to heaven
If you make it out alive
Be grateful you didn't climb that inorganic vine
There is a giant waiting up there
He goes by the name of god
