I have stared at ceilings I don't recognize
I have held tight to the hands of people who let me go
I have popped balloons at party's I don't remember being invited to
I have done many things in my life
Most of which I can't be proud of
I think if there's one thing I've done that's important
Something you can salvage from this wreckage
I made it
I made it today when I said yes when I should have said no
I made it before the devil caught me
Don't get too comfortable in wreckage you made
All that hell you're going through is at a marathoners pace
You keep yelling NO at the devil as you cross that finish line
It's only then you will recognize yourself again
