You keep me a secret
Only acknowledged when you're lonely
You cut me off
Despite what your heart wants
Dark and mysterious sounds alluring
Until it leaves you wondering
Questioning your every move
Like a deer in December
I feel hunted
Always running
Silly me I forgot
I lost all sense of direction
When I got lost in you
Now I'm unsure of if I'm running from you
Or towards you
The worst part is
Nobody would suspect you
If I am only a secret
This chase is purely for your enjoyment
I wish you would have enough mercy
To put me out of my misery
