He was an actor
One who sparkled as bright as his little golden men
I was never jealous of the other girls he pretend to love
It was pretend after all
Never can be a strong word
Sometimes I wish those red carpets would swallow me whole
I could disappear with one camera flash
He told me "you are never an extra in my life, you are my life."
Then he kissed me
It reminded me what it was like to be his main character
I loved the way we directed our own love story when the curtains were drawn
Especially when the lights were turned down low
It reminded me he may win the awards
In the end I had won his heart
It's just as golden
