Chapter 8

(Sai's pov)

Karishma introduced me to everyone and I greeted them.
We all chatted for an hour.

It was a surreal feeling. It was the first time I had come here but it seemed as if I come here everyday. It seemed that I know everyone from years.

By chance, even gabbar was talking sweetly and politely.

In between talks I blurted out that I had lost my bracelet.

"Mera pass hai tumhara bracelet." Gabbar said.
"Vo meri pocket mein ad gya tha" he added

My happiness knew no bounds I found my bracelet!

"To do na kiska intezaar kar rhe ho?" I asked
"Vo room mein pada hai, lata ho" he said

"Aree..virat sai ko aapne saath le jao isi bhahne ghar bhi dekha dena" ashwini kaku said

He was confused but said yes. Having no other option left I nodded and he escorted me upstairs to his room.

(Virat's pov)

Why did aai need to send her with me? She talks so much. She will give me a headache.

I opened the door of my room and we entered inside.

She scanned my room from her eyes. I opened the cupboard and took out the bracelet.

She legit snatched the bracelet from my hand.
I saw tears forming in her eyes.

"Why are you crying? Did I do something wrong"

"Nhi is baar tumhari galti nhi hai bas rona aa gya kyunki meri aai ki aakhri nishani hai..aai mujhe is duniya mein laate hi mar gayi...tab se mere baba, meri aai aur baba dono hai isliye mein unhe aaba bolati ho"

I couldn't stop myself from smiling. She isn't that weird I thought.

(Sai's pov)

I tried to wear my bracelet but failed twice.

Virat extended his hand to help.
I nodded and he took the bracelet from my hand and started to make me wear it.

I felt something in my body. A feeling I hadn't felt yet. I didn't know what was happening to me.

When virat moved away the feeling stopped.

"Thankyou" I said
"Welcome Dr. Sai Joshi"
"Sirf Sai bola sakte ho"
"Ok sirf Sai"

I slapped his hand. He clucked
"Sorry. Sai. Is that fine?"
"Yes"

I stopped in my tracks when I saw a pic of him and his vahini lying on the floor half torn. It wasn't any normal picture, his vahini was in his arms. In his arms !?!

Then I got reminded of something and asked him straightaway.

"Tum ne aapni family se jhooth kyu bola"
"Kaunsa jhooth?"
"Yehi ki kal raat tum mission par gy the"

I could see the hesitation on his face.
"Lambi kahani hai kabhi aur batanoga.....and thanks mere gharwaale ko saach na batene ke liye"
"Hmmm...." I replied

Meine vaisi bhi kya karna hai jaan ke? Lagta hi kaun hai mera..

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Virat

"Chale? Ya phir yhi rehna ka irada hai?" He asked
"Mein to yehi rehna chahti ho vo bhi pure 100 janamo tak"  I said sarcastically.

We both burst out laughing.

(Virat's pov)

That's the first time I have seen her laughing. She has such an infectious laugh.

What are you thinking Virat? Shut up

I gestured her to move ahead and she looked at me with oh so you know manners wala expression.

I rolled my eyes and she walked out with a chuckle. I followed her.

I caught up with her on the stairs and asked "Tum mein mannerless lagta ho?"

Her grin at this statement irritated me.
"Haan ho tum mannerless... pata nhi ips kaise ban gye.." she replied

Before I could say anything we heard a voice "Virat to bohot hi zyada manners wala hai..."

We turned around and saw pakhi standing there.

Oh, she was above all the time. Did she hear our convo?

She extended her hands towards sai and said "Mein pakhi, Virat ki dost"
I was shocked to hear her introducing herself like this.

I immediately said "Vahini, Patralekha mere bade bhai ki biwi hai, meri vahini"

I could see that Sai was confused but she still shook pakhi's hand, gave her a small smile and said " aap niche nhi dikhi, aapki tabyat to theek hai?"

To which Patralekha replied "kuch kaam kar rhi thi, urgent tha"

Work? Umm...pakhi has resigned. So what work?

I could feel the awkwardness present.
I looked at Sai and gestured her to go down.

(Sai's pov)

There is something between Virat and Patralekha bhabhi. The way she is looking at him tells a lot.

Wait why I am thinking of all this?

Virat gestured me to go down.
I agreed because I didn't want to get in their personal matter.

I walked down leaving two of them behind.

(Pakhi's pov)

Finally, this Sai has gone. Jab se aayi hai tabse sai sai ho rha hai.
Thank god mein upar thi nhi to mera bhi dimaag kharab kar dete.

But I can't let her snatch Virat from me. I knew that they didn't have feelings for each other, weren't even friends but I can't let even Sai think of this.

I wanted to take Virat in my confidence. Before I could say anything he said "Problem kya hai tumhari?.."
I cut him off "Kaisi lag rhi ho"

He made faces annoying the heck out of me.
"Mujhe nhi pata" he said

"Aree...tumhe nhi pata hoga to lose pata hoga?..dost ho tum mere compliment kar sakte ho, vaise mein janti ho ki mein bohot hot aur sexy lag rhi ho"

"Shut up" he almost shouted and went down.

Sorry for this trash update.

I am planning to make sairat friends so thought that it would be a bit weird if out of the blue they become friends. So ya that's why this chap.
