Chapter 11

(Sai's pov)

I was shocked to hear that samrat dada and Patralekha bhabhi have moved out of the house, out of Nagpur.

Then he told me the reason and immediately his and his bhabhi's pic which I saw on the floor half torn flashed in front of my eyes.

Thousands of questions came up in my mind but I brushed them off.

Who am I to ask him personal questions especially about this.

Silence once again prevailed.

"Actually aaj thoda mood off hai, do logo ki marne ki khabar mili thi subah." I spoke

"Tabhi to mein socho ki yeh barbad devi aaj chup chup kyu hai" he spoke.

Barbad devi? He called me barbad devi?

"Come on, itna bhi nhi bolti ho mein." I spoke.
"Haan janta hoon kitna bolti ho"

"Sirf 4-5 meets mein mujhe itne aache se jaan gye ho?"
I didn't know why I asked this. I mentally slapped myself for asking.

He spoke after 30 secs, making me more and more embarrassed each second.

"Har din tumse mil jaato ho, kya pata kal bhi khi mil jay hum" with a chuckle at end.

"Baat tu tum theek keh rhe ho, roz mil jaato ho, ab agar roz miloge to aisa nhi chalega" I said

He frowned at me "Aisa kaisa?"

"I mean why don't we become friends" I spoke.

"Na baba, agar mein tumhara dost ban gya na to jitna abhi bolti ho usse thousand jyada bologi"

I made an annoyed face at him.

"Aise mat dekho mazak kar rha tha" he said and extended his hand.

"Friends" I said and shook his hand with a small smile at the end.

We both sat there for an hour chatting about our father's friendship,our first impressions about each other and work.

I was right, my mood brightened up.
Actually he brightened up my mood.

We both were interrupted by my phone ringing. I saw it was aaba and picked it up.

He informed me that he was at chavans and I insisted that I'll pick him up from there.

I got up and said "Chale?"
"Sure" he said taking out his phone.

"Phone nhi lekar jayega hume" I said
"Cab book kar rha tha, aisi halat mein drive thodi kar sakta hoon" he said

I held his hand and pulled him with me.

"Arree cab to book karne do" he said
"Mein tumhe chood dongi idiot"
"Par.."
"Par car kuch nhi, ab hum friends hai ek dusre ke liye itna kar sakte hai aur aaba bhi tumhare yaha hi hai"

(Virat's pov)

I felt so fresh after talking to sai.

I just wanted to keep talking with her but that wasn't possible. 

Sai got a call. She informed me that her aaba was at my place so she insisted on dropping me.

The drive to my house was even better. We jammed to songs and learnt that we have similar song choices.

I think Sunny was right there is a connection between her and me.

Hush virat, stop thinking these things. I scolded myself.

We reached my house and went inside.

On reaching inside we found everyone laughing.

I looked at Sai, she gave me a smile and I responded back with a smile.

"Aa gye, aree virat tere haath par kya hua" aai said

"Kuch nhi aai bas mission par lag gyi" I replied

"Konse mission par gye the aap dada" Karishma said eyeing me and sai.

I glared at her
"I mean aap dono ek saath aay hona isliye..." She added

I told them everything from how I got hurt to our ice-cream meet while we both had some snacks.

"Chale aaba?" Sai said

"Abhi to aayi hu baitho to" Sonali kaku said to which everyone nodded.

"Nhi kal jaldi hospital jaana hai" Sai replied.

Everyone acknowledged this fact and stood up to say goodbye.

All the elders went head while mohit, karishma, me and sai followed them.

I looked at Sai and said "Thankyou meri phirse madat karne ke liye"

"Dosti mein no sorry, no Thankyou" she replied with a grin.

I too grinned.

I don't know why I did what I did next but I did.
I moved closer to her and gave her a side hug.

She was surprised it was visible on her face but she too side hugged me.

"Bye" she said

"Bye" I responded

She walked out and sat in her car.

Within seconds they disappeared.
All of us came inside in the hall.

"Dada kuch zyada hi acche dost nhi ban gye ho aap sai ke?" Karishma said

"Haan, unke saath ice-cream date par gye phir side hug bhi...kya chal rha hai" Mohit said with a teasing smirk.

I could feel everyone's eyes on me.

"Kuch bhi nhi chal rha hai bas hum dono ek dosre ke dost ban gye hai" I said

"Dost, right" Mohit said

I glared at him and said " Thaak gya ho kamre mein ja rha hoon"

"Kuch bhi chahiye to call kar dio" aai said

I nodded and walked up to my room.

Closed my door and started reflecting on mohit's and karishma's  words.

He was right, I had developed a very good bond with sai in just 5-6 meets.

We hit off instantly, was it even normal? I thought

Was Sunny right that there was a connection between me and sai?

I brushed off these thoughts and went to sleep.
