Once Y/N recovered from everything and his body calmed down enough to function properly, he decided to finally try and find a way out of the castle. The introduction to Alcina and her daughters was brutal enough in its own, so he didn't want to stay around to find out even more of their sick and twisted ways. Instead, he just wanted to survive, get Rose and get out of this mess. Yes, Y/N was a fighter and believed that there was a chance for everyone, but even his wit would come to an end sooner or later as he carefully and quietly roamed the halls. If the castle was a tourist attraction, he would love to explore, but this wasn't the right time or scenario for that. Taking a right and walking through a door, Y/N ended up in a library.Y/N:" Well...This looks promising. Let's see what I can find here."
Walking in, Y/N's eyes scanned the different shelves that were just around the corner. He expected this place to have a lot to offer, but even this toppled him over. Most of the books looked very old, having a thick layer of dust on them. They were either in romanian or english, so that would take a while to get through. As Y/N leaned against a pillar, something shifted behind him which caused one big painting to move and reveal two others:
The devil
And a mermaid
Y/N:" I guess it's time for a little story, so I better sit down."
Doing that, Y/N sat on the nearby couch and paid close attention to what would unfold in front of him. Honestly, this was a nice change from the high octane action he was in this far. And the upcoming story intrigued the young man as it started.
