Part 6

Colton showed me the way to the pack house. Next thing I knew I was standing in front of the house. It was huge.

"It consists of 156 wolves. 157 including you." Colton said laughing.

"Colton! Bro!" A muscular guy said coming from the house. He looked a little drunk. He came up to Colton and hugged him. Colton looked piss. He rolled his eyes and stepped away from the guy. "Damn who's this sexy ass woman. Hiya toots." he said winking at me. His words were a bit sluggish. I crossed my arms.

"Who are you." I said unamused of his flirting.

"Who am I? Who am I? Haha! Colton she just asked who I was!" He said punching Colton in the arm and laughing loudly. "I'm Matt! Zane's beta!" he said looking at me waiting if realization will hit me like a truck.

"And I'm swooned because....?" Waving my hand, I looked at Colton. He smirked attempting to hide it.

"Ugh bitch." Matt said and stormed off.

"Sorry about that... He's a man whore and also my obnoxious brother... " Colton rubbed the back of his neck.

"That's your brother?" I said amused at the news.

"Yes now Shutup." Colton grabbed my arm and led me inside. The view was breathtaking. They had a huge chandelier hanging from the hallway when you walk in. "we've been through 12 chandeliers this year." I didn't seemed fazed by that. No doubt did the guys break stuff.

Colton walked down many hallways until finally stopping in front of a door. He knocked twice then stepped back. The door opened.

"Yes father I will.. No I won't...." Zane stopped mid sentence when he saw me. "Father I have to go." He ended the call and looked from Colton to me. "Yes?"

I stood there stunned to see him there. I mean I knew I was gonna meet him again but not to soon. Colton nudged my side. Getting my attention.

"Umm...  I came here to see if I was able to get into the red dawn pack..." I said fiddling with my fingers.

"Huh. Okay. Meet me in the backyard. I'll be there in a few." with that he closed the door. Leaving me and Colton standing awkwardly in the hallway.

"Well... Let's go then." Colton turned and started walking away. As I turned to follow Colton, someone reached out and grabbed me pulling me to the room across Zane's office. I started to panick. I tried screaming but a hand flew to my mouth. I started kick and hit the person behind me.

"Stop it." it growled out. I froze. I was pushed against a wall. I looked at he guy and sure enough it was Matt. Coltons brother, how did he come back inside so fast?

"What do you want." I growled out after he took his hand off of my mouth.

"You." was all he said before his lips crashed on mine. I wanted to gag. His tongue tried to pry my lips apart. But all I did was bite down biting and drawing blood from his tongue.

He yelled out and his eyes turned red. He turned to me and growled out. "You son of a bitch!" He pulled back his hand to punch me, but a hand grabbed his and flung him across the room.

"You dare hit my Mate?!" Zane yelled out. He walked to Matt and grabbed him by his collar. He pulled him up. Matt's eyes were filled with Anger and fear.

"I didn't know!! I honestly didn't know. She doesn't have your smell!" Matt yelled out. His eyes moving between us shocked. Zane punched him in the face. Matt screamed out holding his now bleeding nose. He staggered to the ground. "Don't look at her!" Zane walked back to me. He gently stroked my cheek. Sparks erupted from the touch and I moaned gently.

Zane's honey colored eyes turned dark brown with lust. He looked down at my lips and was leaning closer. I coughed and looked down. A small growl went through Zane's mouth but I ignored it.

"I need to find Colton." I said stepping away. As I glanced at Matt on the ground I saw him shoot an icy glare at me. I stepped out and went down the hallway Colton headed too.

I heard yells and thumps from the room I was just in. No doubt was Zane hurting Matt for what he did. I could still feel Matt's lips on mine. I shivered.

"Ash! There you are. Gosh I freaked out. Where the hell were you?" Colton said running up to me. He looked down my body seeing if I was hurt. I shook my head.

"I'm fine. Let's go." As he led me to the backyard. As we walked out I saw many wolves fighting in human and wolf forms. I smiled and looked closely. One wolf jumped on a huge wolfs back. Considering it was a small she wolf she took down the huge wolf. Like it was only a small cow or something.

"Attention pack!" Everyone stopped to look at Zane who was speaking not to far from me. "We have new news. First of all I would like to inform you that Matt is no longer Beta. He was replaced with his brother, Colton." Everyone cheered and I looked at Colton amazed.

Colton stood there his mouth gaping open. "Congratulations Colton." I whispered.

"Now another announcement we have a new pack member. She just has to go through all of the drills. Which we hardly have time for so she only has to take down 3 wolves and she is accepted.

"Who wants to fight Ashley Landon first." He turned to me and motioned me forward. I walked up and boys started whistling. I growled but Zane's growls were louder. The guys quickly became quiet.

"I will, Alpha." A guy around my age said. He stepped up and tilted his head down. Proper way to address an alpha.

Zane nodded. And turned to me. "Wolf or human form, Ash?" he asked me. I am good in my wolf form but also in my human.

"Wolf." I said nodding slightly. I shifted to my wolf. I had dark black fur with white spots on my feet and tail and also my face.

I wasn't so good in fighting but I learned a tips at my old pack. Dodge and make them tired the attack.

The guy shifted into a large brown wolf. We circled each other then he lunged I jumped out of the way. Again he lunged and I jumped up and over his back.

He let out and growled I ran behind a tree and laughed. He growled and lunged at me I moved to the side and he crashed into the tree. With a whine he fell down. I took my moment to go and clamp my teeth on his neck. Obviously lightly to not harm him in any way.

Everyone clapped loudly. I held my head up and stood up on my hind legs and jumped. Showing that I was happy. Another wolf battled me and I won. Easy and simple.

"Congratulations, Ash. One more win and you will be a red dawn pack member. Jacob your turn." Zane said, emotions rolling off of him like a tsunami. A wolf about my height came out. He has light grey fur. He stepped closer until he was right in front of me. His eyes were spectacular. My wolf growled but my human mind was in love. He was handsome. His eyes were lighter than mine. He looked closely at me and nodded.

Ash, Jacob is very skillful. Be careful. He's cunning. Colton said in my mind.

I can take him. I said confidently. We circled each other but those eyes kept making me melt.

He lunged for me fast I scampered away but he nipped on my hind leg. I whimpered but circled around him.

I could feel my leg bleeding. I was walking with only three legs. Maybe just maybe he can beat me, and that scares me. It scares me a lot.
