You wandered around the big university campus. You got lost at least five times today, granted it was only your first day of your freshman year in university. Still, how the hell does one navigate around here?

You looked at the digital map you had prepared on your phone screen. Knowing how you can be a ditz at times, you decided to download an eMap of your campus before the start of school but even that wasn't as much help. You were still completely lost.

You readjusted your backpack and looked at your watch, you were already at least fifteen minutes late for your second lecture of the day. You looked up from your watch and looked around as you kept your phone, it was pointless to look at the map now and you'd rather save your phone battery.

"I'm late!!" A raspy voice screamed out. You raised a brow and turned towards the direction of the voice. You recognised his bald head from a distance, he was someone from your major who had the same lectures as you!

You immediately sprinted, trying your best not to lose him so that you could follow him to your lecture hall. You followed him at every single twist and turns he took. He even stopped by a vending machine to buy a snack. Was it really a good idea to follow this guy? You narrowed your eyes at the said guy who was currently enjoying his potato chips.

You sighed, closing your eyes as you started to walk away when someone bumped into you.

"My apple juice!" A voice cried out as you opened your eyes. Before you knew it, your hind kissed the ground and your shoes were wet. You frowned as you looked up to the person towering over you. "Shit, I'm so sorry but I'm so late for lecture!" You accepted the hand that he extended out to help pull you up. "I'm so sorry about your shoes and stuff but I really have to go!" You were about to explode when he dashed away, leaving you behind.

You folded your arms as you stared down at your wet shoes. "Tall guy, ash brown mullet. I'll remember you for ruining my favourite Converse." You hissed as you continued looking for your lecture hall.

"Finally!" You said as you read the hall number that you were supposed to look for. "Hall 6E!" Another voice said behind you. You turned around to see the same ash brown haired guy behind you, grinning.

"So you're attending the same lecture as me, huh?" He said coolly, "My shoes are still wet." You stated as you pointed downwards. He scratched his head, "Maybe we can talk about this after lecture? Since we're both late..." You rolled your eyes, "Fine, but don't you dare think about running away from me again." "From a pretty girl like you? Never." He smirked.

"My name's Jean Kirstein, by the way." He whispered to you as the both of you sat down at the nearest available seats. He held out his hand for you to shake, "I'm Tennessee Smith, but you can call me Tanny." You whispered back, shaking his hand.

You were doing some studying on your laptop when the knocks on your door broke you from your concentration. You let out a frustrated sigh as you closed your laptop, standing up from your coffee table to walk to your main entrance.

You turned the knob and pulled it towards you, opening the door to be greeted with a disheveled Jean, with his guitar bag in tow. "My mum's being annoying, mind if I crash at yours again?" He scratched the back of his head sheepishly.

How could you say no to Jean, especially when he was using his signature puppy dog eyes against you? You pinched the bridge of your nose, opening the door fully for Jean to enter, "Sure, whatever, as long as you let me study in peace." You said as you closed the door behind him. "No promises!" He sang as he flopped onto your sofa. You rolled your eyes as you walked back to your coffee table to resume studying.
