Chapter ten.

SAHIB.

I was waiting for Madeenah to be done already. Her statement is taking so long.

I should be scared of the police finding out but I'm not worried because I know nothing would happen to me.

My father freaking owns most of the police departments in this town with all the connections and powers he has so I'm good.

I finally saw Madee coming out of the school door ready to leave. I was waiting for her to come to me but she just ignored me and my calls walking into a different direction.

Now what's her problem? What wrong with all the freaking ladies in this world?

U reach up to her forcing her to look at me. "Hey, where are you going? I've been waiting for you for a while now." I said.

"I rather walk. You can go home now." She says not making eye contact with me.

"Madeenah what did I do now. I hate it when you just freaking get mad at me, refuse to explain and then fucking leave." I snap.

"Why did you do it?" She asked finally looking at me tears building up in her eyes.

"Do what?" I act clueless know exactly what she's talking about.

"Don't fucking act like you don't know what the fuck I'm talking about." She snapped. "I know it's you Sahib."

"How..."

"I knew you since my freaking childhood Sahib and I can spit you anywhere anytime." She yells.

"Let's talk in my car."

"I'm not getting in your car."

"Get in the fucking car Madeenah because God help me I will throw you over my shoulders and toss you in my backseat." I threatened.

"You wouldn't dare." She said and when she realizes I wasn't playing she says, "Fine I'm walking!"

She walks over to the car slamming the door shut and I go in the drivers side and get in. We never exchanged words in the car till we reached her home.

"Why would you do that to Ammar." She breaks the silence.

I sigh. "Because he hurt you-" I star but she cuts me off.

"That's no freaking excuse." She snaps. "I told you to let it go."

"Maybe you will but I won't. I don't regret a single thing I did Madeenah. Ammar hurt you and I can't stand anyone doing that to you. I will do anything for you Madeenah, for your sake." I explain.

"Fine. If you did it for me then I want you to turn yourself over to the police because you committed a serious crime."

"Madeenah are you serious? You know I wouldn't do that and if I do I will go to jail. You want that for me."

"No I do t want you to rot in jail but it's for the best and you will pay for your mistake. But if you don't turn yourself in I can't keep on being your best friend."

"Madeenah you're joking. You can't destroy almost ten years of friendship for that shit." I said.

"If you don't turn yourself in Sahib then I will do it myself." She said getting out of the car slamming the door shut.

No. Madeenah wont do that to me.
