Chapter sixteen.
MADEENAH.
I entered my room and slammed the door shut out of the anger I felt for that woman.
That's why I hate step mothers.
Bullshit I hate her. Just because she's married to my father it doesn't give her the right to tear me like trash.
I always hated her since she walked into this house and she always tried to make me look bad in front of my father.
The door opens and I see dad walk in. He came in and sat on the bed next to me.
"Madeenah." He calls.
"Dad." I answer.
"Is it true you've been sneaking off with a boy? Madeenah you're a very beautiful lady, my princess and I don't want you to get hurt or be used for your body." He said.
"No I haven't been sneaking off dad and I'm okay. I know Sahib since childhood and you know him too, he isn't capable of doing anything bad to me." I defended.
"Is He your boyfriend?" He asked.
I couldn't tell him Sahib and I were dating now. What if he demanded we break up. I hate lying to my father.
"Look, I won't stop you from from having a boyfriend but I want you to be very responsible for your actions because you're a Muslim girl and you're my only daughter and I wouldn't like seeing you get hurt." He said and I hugged him.
"I will be careful dad. All I need is your trust." I said.
"I trust you princess." He said and ruffles my hair before he leaves.
I turn around and found a bite in the breakfast Sahib left for me.
'Had a call to get home, sorry I had to leave but I will see you at school.'
I smiled at the note and put it in my drawer.

I felt sad that dad had to go for another mission. With him working in the Army I don't get to see him much."Where are you going?" I hear mum ask as I ascend the stairs.
"To school." I say.
"You're not going anywhere because you're grounded for two weeks, had over your phone." She snaps.
"What? You can't do that! For the record I haven't done anything so you can't stop me from going to school." I snap back.
"Oh you didn't? Have you forgotten the argument you cause between me and your dad!" She yells.
"Listen Aisha, you have no right to stop be from going to school because you're my mother and you can't control my life got it!" I spat and that earned me a slap.
"You ungrateful brat!"
"I hate you!" I yell and ran upstairs to my room and she filled me and immediately I entered my room I slammed the door at her face and locked the door.
I ignore her rants and bring down a suitcase. When my father is not around I have no reason to stay here so I might as well leave the house for her
I finished packing and dialed my mothers number.
