"Just leave Danielle" He cried. I could see the pain in his eyes. "Jonathon, you know I would never cheat on you" I said holding his hands. He looked at me. "I dont know anymore" he mumbled. "Please! Why would I even think about going?! Its Riddler we are talking about - I hate his guts" I said. He didnt reply but he walked out the room and back into the bathroom. I collapsed on the floor. Fuck you Riddler.
I cant tell anyone this. Its just going to make Megan hate me. I know just who will believe me.
"Hey Dani, whats up?" Said Joey through Skype. "Everything's gone wrong Joey. I dont know what to do" I said crying. "Hey sis, tell me what happened" He said. And so I did. Even the Jonathon part. "He's meant to be your bloody husband?! Why doesnt he believe you? Im gonna-"
"Joey! Yes he is my husband but anyone would have reacted in that way!" I protest. "No, If he truly loved you then he wouldnt tell you to get lost" He said. "But he does love me" I whisper. "Dani, I'm getting the next flight to Gotham as soon as I can"
"Please dont make things worse than they already are" I plead. "I wont. Promise. But I'm gonna sort out that Riddler guy and have a talk with your 'husband' "
"Just dont hurt Jonathon"
I waited for Jonathon to come back from upstairs. "I heard everything" He said. I turned to him. "I'm sorry about what I said. I just dont like being used" He looked at me. I know he regrets it. I hugged him. "Are you going to tell everyone" I said. "Nah. Its just gonna cause more arguments. Beside, everythings sorted right?"
I looked up at him. "Right"
The next day Joey arrived. "Joey!" I hug him. "Dani! You okay?" He hugged me. "Fine. Great. Harry's waiting for you!" I said pulling him into the living room. "Harry, this is your uncle Joey" I said. Joey smiled, "You've grown!" Harry looked at me uncertain of what to say. "Um.." He mumbled.
"How about you show Uncle Joey your dinosaur collection, Harry?" I suggested. "Oh yeah! Come" Harry held Joeys hand and led him to his room. I chuckled then stopped. Joey planned to meet with Riddler the very next day. How was it going to go?
