At the dinner table, Vivek tells Dadu and Jagdish that he wants to speak to them. Dadu asks, "kya baat karni hai Vivek".
"Sameer ki shaadi ki papa". Vivek replies. "Theek hai, khana khatam kar lo fir karte hai baat." Dadu replies.
"Ji papa". Vivek says
After the dinner, all the elders sit down in the living room to talk and kids go back to their rooms. Vivek starts speaking, "Papa aaj main Rakesh ke ghar gaya tha. Wahan main uski dono betiyon se bhi mila. Uski badi beti Naina, mujhe Sameer ke liye pasand aayi hai. Main chahta hoon aap log bhi usse ek baar mil le".
"Tumne Rakesh se baat kari. Woh taiyyar hai iss rishte ke liye?" Jagdish asks Vivek.
"Bhaisahab maine usse abhi koi baat nahi kari hai. Maine sirf Vishakha se abhi baat kari hai aur ab aap log ko bata raha hoon". Vivek says
"Theek hai. Ek baar Rakesh se bhi pooch lo, fir hum chalenge uske ghar". Dadu tells Vivek.
"Ok, main kal hi usse baat karta hoon. Balki kal uske office jaa kar baat kar leta hoon". Vivek replies
"Theek hai. Chalo bahut raat ho gayi hai. Sab sone chalo". Dadu tells everyone. Everyone then leaves for their rooms.
In Pandit's room, all 3 are sitting and talking. "Bhai ab chacha ko kya baat karni hai sabse. Kahin koi ladki to nahi pasand aa gayi unko". Pandit expresses his concern.
"Aa bhi gayi hai pasand to theek hi hai na. Maine to pehle hi haan bol di hai". Sameer says.
"Bhai aap milna nahi chahoge usse ek baar". Rohan asks Sameer.
"Arre abhi se kyun itna soch rahe ho. Pehle pata to chale kya baat hai. Chalo bahut der ho gayi hai, main sone ja raha hoon". Sameer bids Pandit and Rohan good night and leaves for his room.
Next day Vivek calls Rakesh. "Hello Rakesh, main Vivek bol raha hoon. Aaj free ho kya, mujhe tumse zaroori baat karni thi".
"Haan Vivek, batao kya baat hai. Main abhi free hoon". Rakesh tells Vivek.
"Phone par nahi, mil kar baat karni thi. Tumhare office aa jata hoon". Vivek asks Rakesh.
"Ok, lunch ke baad meri aaj koi meeting nahi hai. To tum tab aa jao." Rakesh informs Vivek.
"Fine, 3 pm ke aas paas aata hoon. Chalo milte hai fir". Vivek then disconnects the call.
Around 3 pm, Vivek reaches Agarwal industries. He asks the receptionist to inform Rakesh of his arrival. Receptionist calls Rakesh and informs him and Rakesh tells her to send him in.
Vivek goes towards his cabin and knocks. Rakesh tells him to come inside. He then gets up to greet Vivek. Then they both sit on the sofa and Rakesh orders tea for both of them. They both then start talking.
"Kya hua Vivek, aisi kya baat hai jo tum mujhe phone par nahi bata sakte the". Rakesh asks Vivek.
Vivek tells Rakesh, "baat hi kuch aisi thi ki phone par nahi bata sakta tha. Aamne saamne baith kar hi baat ho sakti thi".
"Saaf saaf batao, kya baat hai. Aise paheliyan na bujhao". Rakesh tells Vivek.
"Rakesh, main chahta hoon ki iss dosti ko ab hum rishtedari mein badal dein. Main Naina ka haath apne bete Sameer ke liye mangta hoon. Kal Naina beta se baat karke mujhe laga yehi best choice hai mere bete aur hamare parivar ke liye. Tumko bhi dekha hua parivar mil jayega Naina ke liye aur hum ko jana pehchana parivar mil jayega. To batao, tumhe yeh rishta manzoor hai?" Vivek asks Rakesh.
Listening to him, Rakesh doesn't know what to say. He is shocked and didn't expect something like this to come. He didn't utter a word for a few minutes. Vivek then shakes him and says, "kya hua bhai? Rishta nahi pasand to bata do".
