Sally was busying herself with minor details, like Annabeth's hair accessories and the veil to the dress.

It was Percy and Annabeth's wedding day, a day she'd been expecting for quite some time, but had still surprised her when it came.

Again she found herself gazing at the gorgeous wedding ring on Annabeth's finger. It had a lovely diamond in the center, and there were little emerald and sapphire gems around the base. It matched perfectly with Annabeth's dress.

The dress was also a beauty. It was white chiffon with a skirt that reflected gold. The hem showed tiny blue designs. It moved beautifully, and Sally remembered seeing Persephone and Demeter during the Titan War. She thought Annabeth looked better than them.

Everyone was beginning to take their seats, and Sally knew she couldn't linger for much longer. She went to her designated chair, which was in the front row.

In the chair next to her was a man she wasn't expecting to see: Poseidon himself.

"Nice to see you again, Sally," he said casually, as if they were normal friends. "You look lovely."

In her surprise, all she managed to say was, "Hi." She felt her cheeks burn.

She thought she was in an odd situation. She loved Paul, no doubt, but she couldn't deny her leftover feelings for Poseidon.

"Have you come to see Percy?" she asked.

"I already spoke with him." He sighed. "It had to be quick, but I think he appreciated it."

"Of course," she agreed. "Uh, will you stay for the whole wedding?"

"Unfortunately, I don't think so. I meant just to congratulate Percy before the ceremony, but decided to say hello to you as well."

Her heart fluttered and she stared at the sea green eyes. She thought about the last time she'd seen Percy's father, it had been on his fifteenth birthday.

Someone tapped her shoulder. She looked up to see Paul standing there, probably about to ask why some random man was in his seat, but then his eyes widened.

"I recognize you," Paul said to Poseidon. "Poseidon. Percy's dad."

Paul let out a laugh despite his slight discomfort with the situation. "When I met you, you said you were 'very much like the sea god,' and that you liked blowfish. That makes sense now."

Poseidon smiled. "I suppose I'm in your seat." He stood up and his eyes flicked to a gray eyed woman surveying the mortals. "Make sure to congratulate Percy for me, Mr. Blowfish. Goodbye, Sally."

He walked away and, although Paul's eyes didn't see it, Sally watched him dissolve into a breeze.

A/N: PLEASE READ! UPDATES!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I've been gone so long, but luckily I've been working on something new. I have an actual story going (it's fanfiction, of course, but it's really long) and I've been writing it for a while. I want to completely write it and revise it before I post it, so it'll be a while before I publish it, but I'll notify you guys when the time comes. I'll put the synopsis below:

In a very futuristic world, with the demigods who fought the Giant War dead for a long time, a new generation has taken over. There is only one hero who still walks the Earth: the lieutenant of Artemis.

Avë, a halfblood, meets Thalia and gladly joins the Hunt, but things are worrying her. Her godly parent is not one she approves of and Echidna, the mother of monsters, is releasing her children all through the country. It's up to the Hunters to stop her.

Even worse things are stirring, all of which distress Avë. They concern her evil parent and her vague, amnesia-ridden past.

While the most loyal of friendships are wavering for unknown reasons, cooperation is the key to tracking and killing Echidna.

Avë, the blessed one, has to figure out why loyalties are being tested and how to defeat her enemies, as well as her parent.

So yeah. I've got my plot mapped out, but I need to write it, and like I said, it might be a while.

I have a million ideas for this book, so I'll publish them in the meantime:)
