A diver swam down as far as he dared. His oxygen tank was running low, and he was about to swim back to the surface when a faint light far below caught his eye. It appeared to be coming from the sea floor. There was a structure around it. But he was actually a mortal who could see through the Mist, and what he saw was Poseidon's realm. He told his friends he'd found the Lost City of Atlantis.

I have a new theory: Atlantis is really Poseidon's realm, but no diver who's tried to explore can see through the Mist. Maybe the people who might've seen it forever ago were demigods or something.
(I know this stuff doesn't actually exist but it's a fun thing to try to prove lol).
