Chapter 22:

How? How could they do this to me? I mean what did I ever do to V and Jimin, I loved both of them and had no bad intention towards them and yet they had the guts to do such a horrible thing to me, wasn’t I a good girlfriend? Maybe I was, I was just not good enough for them.

I ran, ran as far as I could. I don’t know where I was going but I’m sure I don’t want to be anywhere near Jimin or Taehyung or any other member of BTS. I just want to get away from this place, as far as possible.

As I reached the park, there was a huge crowd of people at the park square. I just sighed and ignored whatever is happening. I just sat there in deep trance trying to erase all the memories I had with both of them, and trying to figure out what I’m going to do next with my life. My dad passed away so I don’t have a reason to stay working for V. I think I’ll just go home to my mom’s.

“To those who will audition as trainees please enter at the left entrance, for those who are auditioning as choreographers and vocal coaches please enter at the right entrance” I heard someone say over the intercom, I quickly shot up from my seat and ran to the group of people to check what exactly is going on.

My eyes grew wide at the sign hovering over the stage. SM Entertainment auditions 2014. I’ve always tried out every year for 3 years but never made the cut, I was too preoccupied with V and Jimin that I forgot about this year’ audition.

I quickly ran over the right entrance to audition for the 4th time, although this time I was pretty sure I wasn’t getting in, I haven’t danced in months and what’s worst I haven’t practiced any routines at all.

As I was waiting in line I felt my phone vibrated in my pocket, I checked the caller ID and it was Taehyung calling me, I then quickly pressed the end call button then turned off my phone, I don’t need any distractions at this time and I definitely don’t need V or Jimin.

Finally after about 3 hours of waiting, it was finally my turn, I went inside the huge dome looking tent and stood in front of the 3 panel of judges that will decide my fate in the entertainment industry.

“Hello, I’m Park Lei, I want to be a choreographer for SM Entertainment” I told them, the older gentleman on the right raised his eyebrow at me.

“You look familiar” He stated

“I’ve auditioned 3 times already, this would be my fourth” I told them, I then suddenly felt embarrassed, they might think I was a desperate potato who doesn’t know when to give up.

“Ah yes! Park Lei, I remember, you have talent, you just lack training” he pointed out, then signaled me to start.

After I performed, they didn’t say anything except that if I made it they would give me a call, I submitted my data to one of the staff and headed home, well not exactly home. I don’t want to go home to where V was.

Before I was about to leave the park, I heard someone call my name.

“Ms. Lei!” I heard someone yell, I turned around the see the older gentleman from the panel of judges coming my way. “I couldn’t wait until the staff would contact you, I want to tell you myself” he started off “We want you to be a choreographer for SM Entertainment” he said, it was short but sweet, my eyes grew wide at his statement.

Like Seriously? Is he kidding me? am I being punked? My mouth was wide open, I was completely dumbfounded by his news.

“Are- Are you serious?” I stuttered. He nodded and smiled brightly at me.

“So will you join the SM Family?” he asked, I then nodded eagerly

“Oh my gosh! Yes!” I said with full of enthusiasm.

“Better start packing your bags Ms. Lei, we’ll be heading to Seoul in 3 days” he said and I nodded eager, I bid farewell to him and quickly rushed home, good thing my things were already packed, I just left them at Taehyung’s place. I don’t care if Taehyung or Jimin was there, I was just stoked with my future, my long awaited dream has finally come true!

I reached Kim Taehyung’s mansion and quickly opened the gate, just before I could enter the property I heard someone call me out, I turned around to see Jimin standing there my heart sank at the sight of him, their words suddenly echoed in my head. I took a deep sigh and just ignored him. Jimin came towards me, his eyes full of concern; I just rolled my eyes at him

“Lei can we talk?” He asked as I entered the gate, he quickly grabbed my hand but I forcefully pulled it away.

“Just leave me alone” I hissed at him

Jimin’s POV:

I was completely taken aback by Lei’s force, I didn’t expect her to be the type to actually fight back, she would just usually go with it. I then placed my hand on her shoulder hoping she would listen.

“Jimin stop!” she yelled

“Lei just listen please!” I begged, she took a deep breath then turned around to face me, her eyes were on the verge of tears, I hate seeing her like this, especially now that she means a lot to me.

“2 minutes” she said lowly, I nodded and begin my story. The real story why I did this bet, I just hope she’d understand and will forgive me and V.

“Lei the bet was just something I made up so Taehyung would date you” I told her, she did not respond, she just stood there listening to what else I have to say.
