Chapter 3

The first thing I felt when I was waking up, was my headache. I put my hands on my head and I massage it, in an attempt to reduce the pain.

But as time passed, I realized that it was awfully quiet. Loki should have started talking or laughing at me by now.

I open my eyes and I see that I'm in a different room which I didn't recognize. I sit up and I take a better look around. I was alone and the electroshock bracelet was off my wrist.

"Good morning dear" I hear and I almost jump out of my seat. I turn and I see Loki standing in front of the door

"What happened?" I ask

"I took you with me and I took your electroshock bracelet off. You're welcome" he answers

"You could do that all this time? Why didn't you do it earlier?" I ask

"Because it was fun" he answers smiling.

I sign and I roll my eyes.
"Why does my head hurt so much?" I ask

"I don't know" he answers but I don't believe him.

"You tried to get into my mind while I was unconscious, didn't you?" I ask

"Maybe. But since I couldn't, I took you with me. Your magic can be very useful to me" he says

"Wow... A king, a God needs my help?" I say ironically

"I didn't say that" he says immediately

"You kind of did" I reply

"Anyway, having you dead right now, is no use to me. After I'm finished, then I will kill you myself and make sure you stay dead" he says

"Not if I kill you first" I say

He chuckles "I'd like nothing more than to see you fail" he says

"I did fail last time. You one the other hand..." I remind him

"Oh yes, a small moment of weakness. It won't happen again" he reassures me

"Hm... I guess we'll have to wait and see" I say and he smiles.
"If you were really here, I'd try right now" I add

"What do you mean?" he asks

I throw my pillow on him and it just goes right through him.
"You caught me" he admits and I smile.

"Look, I appreciate the rescue but I'd like to go now" I say standing up and walking to the door

"Not so fast. I didn't let you go" he says

"I don't need your permission" I say and I snap my fingers so his hologram would disappear but nothing happened

"You didn't possibly think that I'd leave here with your powers" he says

"What did you do?" I ask

"I blocked them. That's why your head hurts. I couldn't get in your head but I could throw something in there. So there is a small battle going right now and I can either let go, and you will be able to use your powers again, or turn your brain into mousse" he says

"Lovely" I reply and I sit down again
"What if I help you?" I suggest

"And why would you do that?" he asks with a chuckle

"Because that way I might make it out of here alive" I answer

"Hm... I guess I could use someone to distract my brother and his new friends while I work" he answers

"Great, let me use my powers now" I say

"Not so fast" he says stopping me. "I'm going to let you when I need you. In the meanwhile, enjoy yourself" he says and disappears.
