As soon as I relaxed, my phone started ringing. I reach over and I take it from the nightstand.
"Yes?" I answer
"Hey Kate, it's Nat" I hear her upset
"Hey, is everything alright?" I ask as I sit up and Loki follows
"I might need your help for something" she says
"What is it? Weren't you just here?" I ask
"Someone killed Fury" she says
"Suspects?" I ask immediately
"One. An assassin they call the Winter Soldier" she says
"I gotta go" I say and I hung up.
"Where are you going?" Loki asks
"I don't know yet but it's gonna be far far away from here" I answer, almost panicking
"Katelyn wait, wait!" he says as he grabs my arms "Take a moment, take a few breaths. Look at me" he says calmly. He raises his hand and shows me fireworks.

"Look at the fireworks" he says
"They are kind of distracting" I admit
"I know" he replies, smiling.
He is so sweet sometimes. And his eyes have that glow when he is smiling that I can't look away from. Am I falling for him?
"Usually I wouldn't give a crap and since I'm fine now, I would even challenge him. That's what I did the first time anyway" I explain
"And as you said, you barely made it out alive. Even though you have your powers back, you're still scared. But fear won't stop you from ending them, right?" he asks
"I don't know" I answer "That's why I don't like to talk about my emotions. I get all sensitive and I cry and then I don't know how to tough back again" I say
"Oh please, you have all types of spells and most of them mesmerized, you even come up with new spells all the time, you are even strong enough to travel through space, you came to Asgard and went through all Odin's defense" he reminds me
"I beat and killed you" I add
"That's... debatable. But I'll give it to you, if it will make you feel better" he replies
"It will" I say immediately
"Fine. You beat and almost killed me" he admits hardly and I smile satisfied. "And a few days ago, when you didn't really have powers, you went against the Hydra Agents and the Winter Soldier, to protect the Tesseract and the Scepter" he says "Of course, you needed my help in the end..." he adds and I roll my eyes "But that's not the point, the point is that you are strong. Even without your powers, you got away. Imagine what you could do to them now that your powers become stronger every minute" he says
