As soon as I opened my eyes the next morning, I started panicking. I shouldn't have fallen asleep. I sit up and I look at the time.

"Crap" I curse

"Good morning to you too" Loki says as he wakes up

"I fell asleep and you're here" I say

"Yes, so? Everything is locked, so no one is gonna see us" he says

"Miss Steel, Agent Fury will be here in 10 minutes and he wants to see you both in conference room 3" Jarvis says and I sigh

"Thank you Jarvis" I reply
"He will. I fell asleep so the illusion in the cameras stopped" I say to Loki

"Oops" he replies and smiles.

"I'm so tired of him" I complain as I get out of bed

"It will be over soon" Loki says and kisses me.

We both took a quick shower and I got ready to go to the meeting with Fury.
"Should I turn you into a puppy again?" I ask

"No" he answers immediately, causing me to chuckle

"Ok. Conference room 3 is a couple doors down so let me go first and check the hallway" I suggest

"Alright" he replies and lets me pass.

I take a walk up and down the hallway to see what doors are open and what to expect. I open my door
"Come on" I call.

Loki walks out as one of the security guys and I roll my eyes. I don't say anything and we start walking.

"This suit is more comfortable than Captain's" he says

"Good for you" I say as we walk.

He opens the door of the room for me and lets me walk in first. He closes the door behind us and goes back to himself. We turn around at the same time and we see that Fury is already waiting for us, sat in a chair across from us.

"Explain" he says, looking at me

"I didn't know" is the first thing I say
"I thought he was dead, but turns out he is not. Surprise..." I say. His expression hasn't changed and keeps his eyes on me.

"So you didn't die?" he asks Loki this time

"I kind of faked it" Loki answers

"I bet you can relate" I joke to Fury

"So you just let a fake die?" he asks

"No, it was an illusion" Loki answers

"That's what I said" he says

"No. Actually, illusion-projection and duplication-casting are two completely different powers. Illusion-projection involves depicting a detailed image from outside oneself, which is perceptible in the external world" I explain

"Whereas duplication-casting entails recreating an exact facsimile of one's own body in its present circumstance, which acts as a true holographic mirror of its molecular structure" Loki adds

"Don't interrupting me" I say to him

"Sorry" he says, putting his head down.

"Sorry" he says, putting his head down
