I followed behind him silence. We went back up the stairs to the large ass living room and made our way up the other pair of stairs which led to a whole nother floor. There were four doors. One had a glass door so you could see inside of it. It was game room. It literally had everything or at least from what I can see. It seem like a large room.

One of the other doors was wide open, and it honestly stopped me right in my tracks. It was a room literally filled with books. I slowly began to walk towards it. It looked like the library the beast had from beauty and the beast.

"Little owl? Come on now." I had totally forgot he was here. I jumped a little at the sound of his voice. I could hear him chuckle under his breath.

"So which one of these last two are the art room?" I asked

He pointed at the big wooden door. "So whats that room?" I pointed at the green one next to it.

"Hell." He whispered to himself. I looked at him questioningly. But stay quiet. He began unlocking the door with a key and I was met with a beautiful natural light hitting my face. I could barely see what was in front of me. "Watch your eyes. We get direct sunlight and moonlight in here so it can be quite blinding." A little late with the warning.

My eyes quickly adjusted and I was left in a state of awe at the room I was staring at. Half of the roof and wall was all windows and the other half was this beautiful light wood. The room was filled with mannequins and easels and unfinished paintings and sketches everywhere. It was so pretty.

I was not expecting this at all. "Wow."

"Sorry about the mess." He said before walking over to the desk near the corner of the room. His desk was very close the the glass wall. I could clearly see out side. There was a big tree from outside this room. It was so close that a few of his branches would touch the glass.

As he began pulling out the supplies I decided to look around. I began to walk over to the pile of paintings that were leaning against the wall. They were all so beautiful. The filled my heart up with bliss and curiosity. There are was one with a cherry blossoms and an unfinished bird in the middle of it. I kept rummaging through the other paintings. Then I saw it. The most beautiful one yet. I pulled it out of the pile and held the large painting in my hands. I laid it out in front of me leaning against the wall. I stood back a little to get the full view.

It was a black and brown painting of a three women. Each face on top of another and was intertwined with the next. Almost like the three of them were connected by one line, it seems so simple, yet you could tell there was a lot of work put into it. You could see the small details in each of there faces.

"Do you like it?" He asked.

I nodded. "It's beautiful. Simple yet not. Who are they?"

"Our mothers." He said. I looked at him and saw sadness in his eyes. "They are very beautiful." I said.

We stood silent staring at the picture for awhile. The longer I stared the more I could see the resemblance. The top one was Mikes mom, the middle was Tim, and the bottom was his. They all looked so sad.

"Why do they seem so....distraught?" I asked

"That's all they knew. Sadness. It's what happens when you deal with a Mancini. There were very few times we saw them smile. And our father never contributed to any." He took deep breath and walked over to the painting and put back in the pile.

"Come on. I got the stuff. Let's make our way back to the Lounge room." He said making his way to the door and I soon followed.

We made our way back to the Lounge Room in silence. I can't believe he talked to me about there moms. That was the first decent conversation me and Tate had. I couldn't help but smile to my self.

We were finally in front of the door. But before he reached to open it he turned to look at me. I was so close to him that if I were to move at all I'd be kissing him. He looked down at me and our eyes met. "Do me a favor and don't tell anyone about the painting?" He said.

I could feel his eyes searching my face while he took quick glances and I did the same. His lips looked so soft and plump. He'd be my first kiss if I were to...

"Okay." I said in a whisper. He opened his mouth to say something but it looked as if he was holding himself back. He swallowed hard and turned back toward the door and opening it leaving me breathless.

Before I could process what happened he opened the door to a room filled with tension. But it wasn't the usual. It was a little more sensual, if you know what I mean.

"What's going on here you two?" Tate said with his arms crossed and a wide smirk on lips. I could tell Becks cheeks were a bright red and her usually cool demeanor was replaced with a flustered one.

"Umm...hey I think it's time for me to take Loni home, yeah?" She said giving me a look, begging me to agree. I rolled my eyes and went over and grabbed my stuff.

"Yeah. Gotta get home for dinner." I said sheepishly. I watched as Becks struggled to gather her belongings and make her way out the door. I watched a frown appear on Mikes face, and he looked like a freshly kicked puppy dog.

Becks rushes to my side out of breath. "You ready?" She said. I nodded and began to walk out with her.

"You guys have literally been here for 30 minutes. We've barely even gone over anything." Said a frustrated Mike.

Becks ignored him and began pulling me away. I stopped and turned to look at Tate. "I'm going to sketch a few drawings tonight and I'll send them to you. And we'll pick which ones we like the most." I said as I could feel Becks eagerly pulling me. He nodded.

"Come on, Rebecca. Johnny hasn't even come in with the snacks yet." He said practically begging.

"Maybe next time Mikey. See you later, Tate. And tell John I'm sorry we couldn't stay. I'll make it up to him next time." She began pulling me out of the house in a rush.

Before I could take another breath we were already in the car. I said nothing as she began to start the car. The drive home was pure silence and it drove me insane. I wanted to ask but I knew she needed the silence to think. So I stayed quite til we arrived at my home. She parked in the driveway looking dead ahead at nothing. "So might I ask what the hell was that?" I asked. Her hands began clutching her steering wheel. She was squeezing it so tight to the point that her hands turned white. She took a breath and began turning her whole body toward me.

"So after you completely left me alone with the spawn of satan, we began talking and stuff. And he used those charms of his and he tried to kiss me." She said in a ramble.

"Whoa! Slow down there missy! Imma need you to rewind real quick. What were you guys talking about that lead you to almost kiss public enemy numero uno?" I asked shocked.

"He apologized and was asking me if we could go back to the way things were, but I was trying to tell him that things can't go back to the way they were cause I am literally not the same person. And then he started to say that he loved me and he missed me and I just got so caught up in it all. One thing led to another and.....We were an inch from a kiss before you and Tate opened the door."

Oh wow. "Did you want to?" I asked.

"To kiss him? I'm going to be honest.....I have no clue. Ugh it's stupid. I already know who I like and its not him. And I'm going to stick with that. I like Kyle. The Kyle who whose been there for me, the Kyle who treated me like a person, instead of a possession to keep hidden."

I grabbed her hands and put them to my lips. "I love you, so I'm gonna be blunt. Running from this will do more bad then good. You need to sit down and think through what you really want and then think a little more. Cause you say your ready to forgive, and yet you still seem so scared of that confrontation. You need to really think about if your really ready for those conversations or are you just forcing yourself to be."

She nodded. "I also have a question?" She asked. I nodded.

"What took you and Tate so long to get from upstairs? You guys were gone for a bit." She asked.
