"Look who's here" Demi said as I arrived at her house. Ash came running towards me making me pet him.
"Hi" I waved at her with a grin on my face making her roll her eyes
"You were supposed to be here 15 minutes ago" She told me walking to the kitchen as I followed closely behind
"There was traffic. I'm sorry" I told her sincerely stopping in front of her
"We have to go. My manager is going to be pissed"
We got in the car and I took off as fast as I can, not too fast though.
"This is what I get for trusting you"
"I told you babe, I'm sorry. Why did you even take your car to the shop?"
"The breaks in my car are messed up" She said sounding irritated. I dropped it there, I knew she was mad and I blamed myself too because I could've just left my house sooner.
"Okay I'll wait for you here" I said once we were outside her managers office
"Oh no, you're coming with me. If my manager is going to blame someone for being late, it's going to be you" She grabbed my hand and dragged me to his office
"But I don't even know him"
Her manager was inside looking at me and Demi with an unreadable face
"You're late" He simply said
"I'm sorry Matt. I actually have an excuse" He just sat on his chair, his eyes darting from me and Demi constantly
"What was your excuse Demi?"
"It was Nayas fault" Demi told him making him furrow his eyebrows
"Naya? She's causing you to be late? I thought she would've been a better influence on you Demi?" Demi looked at him
"No, she is a big influence on me, she was just stuck...in traffic" I giggled a little making Demi and her manager look at me
"Right. Stuck in traffic. Well listen I only wanted to talk to you about tour stuff but since I have an appointment in about 20 minutes Im going to have to reschedule this. I'll call you" He told Demi. We both got up from our seats and were about to exit when he called me up
"Naya. Since you're causing Demi to be late, I don't think you would mind going with her later on to break some sweat during rehearsals would you?"
He smirked looking at Demi who was also smirking
"No sir, I wouldn't mind" I nervously said.
"Good. Now you may leave" We left his office and Demi started laughing once we were outside of his office
"Stop laughing"

We were just outside the rehearsal building when a knocking on the window made Demi roll her window down
"Hey Shay" I turned my head to the side seeing Demi talking to Shay. She couldn't see me because she was basically standing up looking down at Demi.
"Hey, ready to kick butt today" Demi giggled
"Definitely"
"Me too!" I shouted out making Demi look at me and Shay look down inside the car.
"Oh...um hey Naya" She waved at me "I'll see you inside Demi...and Naya" Once she walked away I started laughing
"You did that on purpose" She slapped my arm
"I'm sorry" I continued laughing. She only rolled her eyes and got out of the car "Im sorry babe" I laughed as we entered the building resulting in her hitting my stomach "Stop hitting me"
