"are you really really sure you're not busy?" you asked your boyfriend once again.

"i'm not, why do you keep asking that?" he said with curiosity lingering in his tone.

"i mean, you've been really busy these past weeks and i don't want to bother you and your job.." you said; taking a chopstick from the table took a sushi from the plate infront of you. "i don't want you to spare your time for someone like me. i know your job is really important."

"y/n, i swore i have a day off today. and what's wrong to spend my time for my girlfriend anyway?" he gave you a warm smile as he gently strokes your hair.

"there's nothing wrong! it's just.. i understand your priorities.." you mumbled as you try your best to hide the blush on your cheek.

well it's true that ran is your boyfriend, but he is mostly busy at work and one time he's being affectionate to you; it still ended up leaving you as a blushing mess.

"well.. what do you wanna do today?" ran asked as he adjusted his hand on the table and rests his head on top of his palm.

"well i was originally about to get groceries and you suddenly had a day off.. you could've told me earlier so i could reschedule my plans!" you pouted as you shoved a sushi inside your mouth.

"sorry about that love, we can still get groceries, you know?" he said as he got up from his chair to plant kisses on your cheek.

"ran! stop teasing me!"

"i'm just showing some love for my girlfriend." he chuckled as he took a seat beside you and extended his arm. his arm snakes around your shoulder as you put your head on his shoulder; resting it.

"we should get ready if we're gonna get groceries today." you said. you wrapped your arm around his waist as you hugged him tightly.

he put his arm on your back as he rubbed it in circles slowly. "you're right." he smiled as he gave you a kiss on the forehead.

"hey, why do you have to be so considerate with these vegetables? they all looked the same to me." ran said as he starred at the vegetables to spot the difference between each other.

"just look closely and choose the beautiful one." you smiled as you extend your arm to pick another vegetable.

before you could do so, you felt a hand holding your wrist. you raised your head at ran as you looked at him with a confused look.

"what's wrong?" you asked him.

"you told me to pick the beautiful one, right?" he said with a gentle tone.

"i do. but why are you holding my wrist?"

"i'm just choosing the beautiful one." he chuckled; after a few seconds you finally realize what he meant as your cheeks started to tint red.

"ran!" you playfully hit him when you suddenly felt someone tapping your shoulder.

you turned around as you saw a guy slightly taller than you holding his phone out.

"excuse me, you see my phone here? something's missing." he said.

"okay? i didn't see anything wrong." you replied.

"there's none of your number here." the guy said as he extended his hand to you but you ended up walking one step back as you scrunched up your nose. "i get it if you're shy but it's okay."

oh what confidence this guy had. you looked up to ran as you saw him starring at a guy with a dead look in his eyes.

ran extended his arm and took the phone from the other guy's hand and typed something there before handing it back to him. ran's arm ran around my waist as he pulled me closer to him.

the guy looked at him in terror as ran still kept a deadly look in his eyes. "so are you gonna walk away now or what?"

"i'm really sorry!" the other guy dramatically bowed before running away from your sight.

"what did you type there, ran?" you asked the tall figure beside you.

"nothing important." he smiled as he rests his hand on your head before lowering his head to your height.

"you're mine, okay? if a guy annoys you just tell me and i'll make him regrets what he did." he smiled as he trailed kisses around your face.

"mm- i will.. can you stop now? we're in a public place and people are looking at us.." you cupped his face; stopping him from doing any further.

"they're just jealous, my love." he smiled before giving you another kiss on the lips.

"mom, look, they're kissing!"
