"This is ridiculous."

"This is for your wedding brother dearest."

It was a slightly busy evening in the Cullen household. Alice was running around making last minute fixes for tomorrow's wedding with Jasper helping. Esme and Carlisle were who knows where with Emmett and Cordelia was left with Edward and Rosalie.

And a kitchen full of various dinner foods and cakes.

Alice still hadn't decided on a food cater so she left the decision to the only human, well half human, in the home. She could have asked Bella but Bella didn't want to plan a wedding in the first place, so she left it all to Alice who had a vision.

Cordelia was sitting in their dining room which had its uses although it was rare anyone ate in the room. Cordelia tended to linger in the kitchen itself where her mother cooked, it was always just her eating anyway. But the kitchen had been overrun by all the different cake and food samples Alice requested. So Cordelia sat at the dining table while Edward came in and out with the samples. Rosalie was around earlier but went off to do her nails or something like that.

"I don't particularly care what cake or main dish we have and neither does Bella." Cordelia rolled her eyes, "yeah yeah, Alice put me in charge here. I am the voice for all of our human guest which if you remember buddy, your in laws are human. Don't you want to be considerate of not only them but all the other human guests?" Edward scowled and Cordelia grinned wickedly, "bring forth my next dish peasant boy!" He growled but took away the plate in front of her. A slice of red velvet cake had been on it but it was long gone now.

While Edward got the next sample ready, Cordelia's ears picked up the sound of a familiar motorcycle. It had been only recently since that motorcycle had become permanent but like anything that came with Jacob Black, Cordelia knew it very very well. Jacob had made the decision to sell the Rabbit and keep his motorcycle instead of switching between the two.

She came out her thoughts when Rosalie appeared in the doorway. She had a strained, polite smile on her face. "You have a visitor Grace." "Thanks Rose." It meant a lot to see her sister trying like she promised she would. Rosalie's smile became soft for a brief moment before Jacob passed right by her and entered.

His uncombed hair was grown out, some pieces of hair coming over his ears. He was even sporting some facial hair which Cordelia didn't mind at all. It was the slightest mustache and stubble, she liked it. He was carrying his helmet that Cordelia made him promise to wear after he decided to ditch the rabbit for his bike. Yes he could always heal if anything happened to him, but the helmet was more for her peace of mind. He also had on a riding jacket which fit his figure just right. Overall, he looked beautiful.

This was what he'd look like for the rest of their lives together. When Jake phased for the first time all those months ago he filled out but now he truly looked like he was in his truest form. He was a man now in comparison to the boy he'd been.

"It smells like an all you can eat buffet in here." There was appreciation in his tone and Cordelia smiled. Jacob came to kiss her first before sitting down next to her and putting his helmet at his feet. "What are you up to?"

"My sister put me in charge of the food for tomorrow," Cordelia explained as she reached out to touch Jacob's cheek. Her thumb brushed the mustache and then she swiped her fingers across his stubble. "I like the facial hair." "Oh?" He leaned it to kiss her again and Cordelia laughed, "yeah it's working for you." They broke apart not long after because Edward was making a bunch of noise signaling he was on his way with the next sample.

Half an hour ago they finished up choosing the appetizers and main dish. "You got here just in time Jake, we're trying out cake flavors!" Cordelia clapped her hands excitedly as Edward neared. Even he couldn't look annoyed when Cordelia looked so happy to be doing this for him and Bella. It was after all free food but Cordelia didn't have to spend her day doing this either.
