Cheryl's POV

Practically throwing myself on the couch, I sighed out loud and stretched my body out. I looked at my watch and saw that it was now almost nine in the morning.

Jason, Reggie, and Archie thought it would be a great idea to start helping me wake up earlier.

They all decided to wake me up at 7 in the morning to make me take a walk and then go downstairs in the workout room to exercise.

To make it worse, they were absolutely brutal with the workouts and completely tuned out my whining and complaining. I know they're trying to "get me back on my feet" but fucking hell.

I just finished showering and getting dressed so now I'm laying here to rest my body. Kevin and Fangs were up making breakfast together, but the girls were still sleeping.

"Chop chop Blossom, we're making a healthy breakfast this morning" I heard Reggie say and I groaned.

"When do I get a breakk" I whined. "In the night time, now get your ass up" Jason said and I sat up to look at him.

"I'm older than you so watch yourself". "Only by a few seconds so it doesn't count" he said, sticking his tongue out at me.

Archie grabbed Jason's shoulders from behind and started walking towards the kitchen.

Let's go" Reggie said and I reluctantly got up from the couch, following the boys.

"Hey guys" I greeted Fangs and Kevin and I got a wave in return from them both. "Alright, so we'll be having smoothies, avocado toast, yogurt, and two eggs" Reggie said and then he made us all get the ingredients to make the food ourselves.

When we were all done we sat at the table in the kitchen and ate our food. When finished, Fangs offered to wash our dishes and we all thanked him before leaving the kitchen.

"Alright, so I guess I get a little break since the others aren't up yet" I said to myself as I laid back down on the couch.

I then felt myself being yanked up, just to be face to face with Veronica.

"There's no such thing as a break so get your ass up" she said pushing her finger in my chest hard.

I smacked her hand away then said "Okay damn, what are we doing for today".

"Well Reggie, Jason, and Archie should've done their job already so next would be calling your annoying ass assistant and working out your schedule for meetings especially with the Hernandez company".

At the mention of the Hernandez company, I remembered what happened the first time I had a meeting with them.

*Flashback 3 months ago*

"Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you all" I greeted as I walked into the conference room. "Same for you" a man at the head of the table said.

I sat down on the other head of the table and placed all my belongings on the table. Both Laila and Veronica sat beside me and you could feel how "off" the vibe felt.

I invited Veronica so she herself could analyze what the Hernandez family had to see and help me out with what tricks they would pull with money.

*Skip all that business talking cs I don't know shit abt that*

"Okay Dad, let's cut the bull crap. They obviously won't budge so lets get to the real deal" said the young woman whose name I learned was Anita.
