It's been one year since everything had happened to Cheryl and friends and for once in a very long time, everyone was at peace. Ever since the events had happened, Cheryl and Toni's families have been living in the new mansion alongside Cheryl and Toni's friends.
Cheryl had taken about half a year to recover from her wounds and get back to her original self and everyone was happy for that. Her progress was a much faster recovery than her doctors had thought which just proved how strong Cheryl was.
Toni on the other hand was a different story. After practically getting her whole life taken away, Toni was obviously a completely different person. It was clear that whatever events happened with Aria traumatized her deeply to the point where the old Toni was no longer there anymore.
As soon as Toni started to become a bit more vocal, her parents decided to put her into therapy to at least come to terms with the things that happened to her while kept captive. Toni is still reserved but she seems more comfortable with everyone than she was in the beginning.
It's definitely new to everyone with how she behaves and who she is now as a person but all they can do is try to get to know Toni all over again. In the beginning it was difficult trying to communicate with Toni and trying to be her friend again but a year later things have improved.
Toni loves hanging out with Veronica, Jasmine, Archie, Betty, Reggie , Jason, Fangs, Kevin, and Melissa. She especially loves hanging out with her three siblings and Paris. Yes, three siblings, her brother Aaron had finally came back and decided he would stay with his family.
Besides friendly relationships, Toni's romantic relationship is not exactly going so well. Apparently Aria had traumatized Toni so badly that she is absolutely terrified of getting into any relationship.
It was found out that she believes that being in a relationship will only lead to her being hurt, relationships are only meant to be abusive, and no one would ever love her romantically except Aria.
For a long time Toni truly believed that Aria really loved her and getting abused was the only way to show her love. With the help of her therapist she was brought out of that mindset but that doesn't mean she didn't have those small thoughts at the back of her mind.
Overall though, everyone was doing well and was happy. And oh, Veronica, Jasmine, and Toni had their babies who were all born happy and healthy.
(I'm about to bullshit all of their ages cs ion feel like going back).
Veronica's baby boy Alejandro, is now 3 months old, Jasmine's baby boy Lucas is now 5 months old, and Toni's baby girl Ryleigh, is now 8 months old.
