Now I'm in my own house, I've finally moved in and it feels amazing to have a house to call mine. All mine. No one to consider in when I find a nice sofa or worry whether everyone else will like the paint colour I have chosen. None of that bullshit. Every decision is down to me.
I haven't spoke to Tyla since she left, I just wanted to leave her be for a while. I've been out with the squad, but obviously the people who joined were limited. Natalie, Reggie, David, Heath and Mariah all came round to help me move my things into my new house, where after I treated them to a nice dinner at a restaurant down the street.
Now that I live in the same area as David it's a lot easier for us all to see each other but due to the circumstances, instead of seeing, it's more avoiding as Jeff is always round David's now, as one he was part of the squad first and they obviously need him for skits and two he has no one else to do anything with.
I've started to make my way through the stage of anger, on the pathway to acceptance. First is depression, second stage is anger and then last is acceptance. Anger is the worst of the stages because I don't want to hate him or be angry at him or the situation as whole, but I just can't help myself. I feel as if he acted wrong, except did he though? I keep contradicting myself as, yes he's allowed to be upset and I'm not going to say his feelings are invalid but think about it, it was my choice, it's my mental state, I don't have to tell anyone anything, if I don't want to. I far from resent him but part of me is starting to think, is he clearly as good as I thought he was?
As I was mid thought my phone rang, it was Lewis. Intrigued in what he has to say, I answer the call, to my surprise he was very excited.
'Ari!!' He screams down the phone.
'Hello to you too Lewis.' I giggle. 'What's up?'
'I have some amazing news for you!' He screams louder.
'What?' I ask confused. 'Tell me!'
'Vogue just called-'
'Vogue?!' I shout, interrupting his sentence.
'Yes the big time magazine Vogue.' He says as he carries on his sentence. 'They want you on their front cover!'
'Oh my fucking god!' I scream. 'Don't fucking play with my Lewis! Don't play with me man!'
'I'm not!' He shouts.
'Oh my god! Wh-why?!'
'They saw your Streamy performance and they've seen how many views you've got on it and they believe that you are gonna be the new face of music.'
'B-but I've not even released any music?' I question.
'Yes that's the catch, they will have a cover waiting for you, only if, when you release your music, that the album lives up to their expectations.'
'Right ok, so I need to get to the studio asap. Can you meet me there in 20?'
'Girl, I'm already on my way!'

'Ok so well..' Lewis starts his sentence. 'When do you want the album to come out?'
'Well I wanted God Is A Woman to come out on my birthday, but what if we have the album come out on my birthday and then have God Is A Woman come out earlier, like with the music video and everything?'
'Right. Ok erm...your birthday is legit in a month...so you sure you're gonna be able to pull it all off?' Lewis questions.
'Yeah of course.' I reassure. 'The way I think about it, the faster my album comes out, the more time people can enjoy it and then as they've had a longer time to enjoy it, the bigger I get, which then I can finally do what I love, for real.'
Lewis smiles at my ambition, 'And this is why I am so happy that I'm your manager. Let me go make some calls.'
Lewis walks off and whips his phone out of his pocket in the process. I just stood there in awe whilst looking out at the window. I began to think about how everything is going according to my plan in my head. Not as in break up Jeff or anything, cause don't get me wrong, it would be great to have someone to be by my side, but I guess that's what Lewis is for, he has never not been supportive.
My plan was move to LA to do YouTube and then somehow grow in the music industry. The Streamys really helped with this, I'm so grateful to them for giving me the chance to show off my talent. Eternally grateful.
'So we can get Lila Warren to direct your music video, she's available on the 13th,14th and 15th which hopefully will be enough time to record the video, then get it all edited and say...release the song on the 1st and ten days later the album is dropped?' Lewis informs as he walks over towards the window I was looking out of.
'That sounds so perfect and Lila Warren?!' I gasp.
'Yeah Lila Warren, you know I'm good friends with her.'
'Yeah I know but I just can't believe she wants to direct a music video for me. She's amazing.'
'Exactly, when you both give your visions and work collectively on it, the video will be outstanding, everyone will watch it.' Lewis smiles.
