'Jeff where are you taking me?' I confusedly asked.

'Baby, calm down you're are not going to die.' Jeff giggles, clutching my hand as he helps me out of the car. 'Ok take off the blind fold.'

I took off the blind fold and my eyes took a few seconds to adjust to what was actually in front of me. 'Santa Monica Pier?!'

It was now currently 10pm considering it took us so long looking for a place to eat. The lights of the pier were gleaming against the dark sky, making a perfect Instagram post. 'Come on let's go.' Jeff smiles as he intertwines his fingers with mine.

As he guides me towards the pier, I couldn't help but admire him. The way his smile forms across his face and how his hair bounces as he walks. His strong arms and his rough fingers, enclosed between mine. How his brown eyes, were now full of colour, due to the lights steaming along each of our faces. His ability to make me feel like I am the only girl in the world.

'Do you like rides?' Jeff questions as we got up to the token booth.

'Do I like rides? Is that a even question?' I laugh. 'Of course I like rides. Also wouldn't it be better to have asked before we came here?' I say as I carry on my laugh.

'Well.....' Jeff giggles. We get our tokens, which I did in fact offer to pay for some, but nope, Jeff wasn't having any of it. He said to me that I'm too good to him already, so this is all on him.

'Ok what first?' He asks.

'Oooo the Ferris Wheel.'

'Erm can we do that last?'

'Erm...sure.' I say, confused. Why would he want to go on the Ferris Wheel last?

'It's just that it's nice to finish off with a calming ride.' He explains, which I nod to, but ultimately not buying.

We proceed to go on the other rides that were there. There wasn't many people, due to it being so late, but just enough to keep the rides going. We went on a ride that spun around, which Jeff wasn't very amused by as when he got off the ride he needed to sit down for a little while. I was perfectly fine but watching Jeff almost hurl up his burrito, did make me laugh. A lot.

After Jeff regained his ability to stand up straight without feeling dizzy, we went over to the shoot the target game. This was where we had to shoot the targets and if we got all 5 down we would win a massive teddy. Obviously being the professional that I am, I won a massive teddy bear, whereas Jeff wasn't as lucky. He only got two down, so he won a small panda teddy which I thought was actually really cute.

'Here you go.' I say, passing Jeff the giant teddy.

'What! No you won it. You keep it.' He says softly, pushing the teddy back into my hands.

'No I'll take this one and you can have this one.' I smile, taking his panda out of his hand and passing him my teddy. 'I won it for you and I know what you're like, you won that for me.'

'Yeah, you're right I did win it for you, but I obviously expected it to be a lot bigger.' He giggles.

'No I like the small one, I already have a big teddy bear.'

'Oh yeah, who's that?'

'His name is Jeffrey Wittek.' I chuckle, pouting my lips, which Jeff notices and then pushes his against mine.

'Right, Ferris Wheel.' Jeff says, as he clutches his now big teddy bear and swiftly, once again, takes my hand.

As the Ferris Wheel comes to a halt, at the very top, I turn to Ari. Her beautiful complexion glistened in the moonlight. Her hair blew lightly in the wind. Her hand tightly wrapped around the panda teddy that I had won. I knew there and then, that this girl, she was the one for me.

'Hey, you're shivering.' I notice. She turns and looks at me. I instantly pulled her closer to me and began to rub her arm.

'Jeff?'

'Yeah?'

'This has been one of the greatest nights that I have ever experienced.' She smiles as she looks up to me.

'Even after all the fucked up dinner arrangement?' I chuckle.

'Yes, even after the fucked up dinner arrangement, but that was partially my fault.' Ari giggles along.

I've been wanting to say those 3 special words ever since I met her. My hands start to tremble and sweat. What happens if she doesn't feel the same? Or she just gives me a blank expression? Oh fuck it, here I go.

'Ari.'

'Jeff.'

'I'm gonna say this before I regret not saying it, in this very special moment. I Erm..' I say before she interrupts me.

'I love you.' She says. 'Sorry I really wanted to say it first. You asked me out when I was planning to ask you out, so I just had to say I love you fir-'

Before she could even finish her sentence, I smash my lips against hers and we let our tongues dance. Breaking the kiss, I look down at her.

'I love you too.'
