After David and Natalie ate a slice of the cake they had bought me, they stayed for an extra half an hour and we just chatted about everything that's been happening in our lives recently. I'm now currently in my dressing room getting ready to go to David's for the party that he's throwing me. I haven't been to David's house in so long and I haven't really seen much of the squad apart from a few of the girls. I feel a bit unsure of what's to come. Unsure on how they are going to act around me. I've felt uncertainty all my life with my anxiety and all, but this is the type of anxiety, makes me just feel ill inside. My stomach is doing flips as I'm trying to curl my hair. To the boys, Jeff is their best mate and so they are really the people that I'm worried to be around.

The time is currently 7:49pm and I've been told by David to be there for 8pm, his house was only a 2 minute drive up the road. Ive been messaging Tyla all day. Her grandad is still with us so that's a good sign however he is slowly deteriorating, which I feel so sorry for. It's probably one of the worst things to happen when you're dying. The speed. Most people wouldn't wish a painful slow death on anybody, so for him to go through it all breaks my heart.

I slip on my black knee high boots to match the black dress I'm wearing. Take a quick look in the mirror once more to make sure I look presentable and grab my car keys, with my bag on my shoulder and head to my car.

'Ari!!' Everyone shouts as I walk through the door, bang on 8pm. 'Hi guys!' I smile waving to them all as I waltz down the corridor.

'Congratulations!! Also love the new hair!!' Scott says as he pulls me in for a hug. 'Thank you.' I giggle.

'You did it girl! So proud of you!' Zane squeals, shaking me in the process. The rest of the group consisting of Todd, Heath, Erin, Mariah, Carly, Jason and Corinna congratulate me and pull me in to their embrace.

'Right shall we get this launch party started?!' David shouts.

'Yeah!!' Everyone shouts in unison. David's house was decked out with balloons, banners and streamers. There was even 4 silver balloons in the letters G I A W , representing God Is A Woman. He even made a small stage in the living room infront of the tv with a mic stand and two speakers either side.

As much as I felt the love from everyone, especially the boys, who I was nervous to see, something just felt off. My eyes darted around the room, just scanning and searching. David was in the kitchen with Todd and Carly. Zane, Jason, Erin and Corinna were dancing outside to the music that was blasting around the house. Heath, Mariah and Scott were sitting on the couch in front of the stage, just chatting along.

'Ari?' I hear. I swiftly turn my head to the left to be met with Natalie looking at me concerned. 'He's not here.'

'Huh?' I reply.

'Jeff. He's not here.' She says again.

'What do you mean? Why-Why you saying that?'

'I can see you looking for him. We thought it was best not to invite him.' Natalie explains. 'We wanted it to be special for you. We didn't want him to come in between that.'
