It was ten more days until the launch of the God Is A Woman music video. Lila and Lewis are working with a lot of producers and editors to make it the best it can be. I've obviously been there too, to pitch in and say what I like and what I don't. The inclusiveness of the whole process feels so warming and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's due to the fact that it's my first big hit? Well...hopefully a big hit.
I've been on my feet non-stop since shooting the video. I'm just so tired all the time. So it was time to unwind for me. We all decided to take a couple of days off and Lewis said we'll get back into the studio on the 25th, when we will then finalise all the details.
I'm currently on the sofa with Boots, waiting for my chipotle to arrive. The house is coming together. I order loads of stuff from Amazon and IKEA which Natalie and Mariah kindly put together for me. I didn't ask them to, they did it out of the own kindness of their hearts. Natalie has a spare key as she been coming in to check on Boots whilst I was at the studio. I'm so grateful for her, well grateful for all of the squad, but mainly her. She's been a massive support system.
I'm not sure how long things are gonna take to where I'll be fully involved with the squad again but at the moment, I'm content with just seeing Natalie as a often as possible and David, Heath, Zane and the rest of the girls from the squad every now and then. I'm at the acceptance part of my grieving. I've flew through the stages, I know. The music has really helped me get through a lot of it. However, circling back, I'm at the acceptance level and due to this I fully respect that Jeff was part of the squad first, so he gets full priority.
I just recently posted on Instagram addressing our breakup and I must say some people are very mad. People blaming me, people blaming him. To be honest, the people blaming him aren't exactly wrong. He did end it officially. However from someone else's point of view I could be in the wrong? It's also our first interaction since he came to get his stuff from the old house. But I'm not even going to think about this anymore, it's all I think about now, it's not healthy. I'm just going to enjoy my chipotle, if the bastard wants to hurry the fuck up and watch How To Get Away With Murder.
