(Y/N) POV

I exited my room once my hunger was gone.

I knocked on Max's door and it opened revealing a rather grumpy Blonde.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed," I tease as he gives me the death stare.

"Whatever, where are we going now?" He asks me

"Nowhere certain," I say as he looks a little confused

"I thought you had a plan," he mumbles

"We need to get stronger first," I tell him

"And using a quest might be the best way," I say as he nods

"Ok, any clue where we can get those?" He asks as I shrug

"I don't know, I'm as clueless as you are," I tell him as he rolls his eyes

"Ok then, let's get a move on," he mutters

We exited the Pub and start looking around.

It was a normal little town, NPCs went about their daily lives as if nothing happened...to them I guess nothing did change.

"Help, help! My little boy and girl are missing...I need help finding them!" A mother NPC yells

"The first quest," I mutter as we approach her.

"Where were they last seen?" I ask as she thinks for a bit

"They were in the Havoc Caves north of here," she says as I get a notification

Quest - Saving the Children

I click on the accept button and I'm given a waypoint on a compass.

"Come on," I mutter to Max as he follows me.

"Ok, so you need to learn how to fight," I say as I start explaining my understanding of the attack mechanics.

As we walked, I had Max do a few practice swings.

"Why are you teaching me?" He asks

"Because, I've slain a boar while another knocked you on your ass," I say as he nods.

"Fair point," he mutters

I found some low-level enemies and we practiced on them.

At first, it looked like Max was uncertain...but eventually he got the hang of it

"Ok," I say as we approach the cave

"Keep your guard up I guess," I say as he nods

We enter the cave. It was pretty easy to find the children, the cave only had one path, it didn't split into multiple ways or anything.

Plus there were no monsters to fight either.

"Come here, we are here to save you," Max says as he puts on a smile.

"Really mister?" The boy asks

"Yea," I say as we take the hands of the two children.

We made our way out of the cave and back to town

"This is .... Pretty easy," Max says on the way back
