thirty-one.

minho figured it was time. time to stop avoiding it since he's decided he feels more than ready now. he just needs to make sure seungmin is on the same page. if he wasn't, that was okay with minho. he just want to make sure seungmin feels comfortable with himself and with their "relationship".

minho contemplated for days and days on end on how he would hint at his readiness. he feels a bit shy about it, something he didn't think anyone would be able to make him feel. he figured thinking too much about it would only make it harder, so he decided if the moment arises then he'll just say what he's feeling.

it was a typical day for the pair, minho coming over with food in hand and giving a sweet smile and a small 'hey.' seungmin greeted him with a gentle hug and a small grunt which minho translated as 'hi'.

"oh? are you tired or something?" minho  asked as his free hand lifted to ruffle seungmin's hair.

"a little, just wanna relax on the couch. you up to it?" seungmin said as he pulled away from the warm embrace to look into minho's sparkling eyes.

"am i up to it? is that even a question? go sit down i'll set down your food and drink on the coffee table for you." minho said with a wink which came off more jokingly than serious.

seungmin cringed at the wink before giving a small nod with a smile. he practically waddled over to the couch before plopping down and looking at the tv.

minho took off his shoes and brought the food to the table, setting it out neatly in front of them. seungmin grabbed one part of the dish and immediately snuggled into minho's side.

"what do you want to watch?" seungmin asked while he scrolled through the options with the remote.

"hmm, weren't you talking about ella enchanted the other day?"

seungmin immediately perked up with excitement to watch one of his favorite movies. in record time, the movie was brightly displayed on the screen, familiar lines and scenes reaching minho's senses.

they had watched the movie numerous times to the point minho thinks he's memorized it. he's not complaining though, the movie wasn't half bad and seungmin's happiness made it all worth it. especially when the iconic songs start playing and he gets to happily sing along with the younger, seungmin's sweet voice filling his ears.

they continued to watch as they normally did, but seungmin suddenly asked a random question.

"what would you do if i were a book like benny?"

minho couldn't help but laugh out loud at the question, something completely random and honestly a bit ridiculous to ask. either way it was funny and got minho thinking.

"i'm not a big reader, but i suppose i would still like you."
