Brendon's POV

I just stood there and watched her leave. The girl that changed me. The girl that showed me love. The girl I love.

I wanted my promise to stay true. Actually, I know it will stay true. Because I love her, so much that I would do anything for her. I gave her a promise that would be really hard to keep, but I have to stay true to it. For her. I thought about her face. The way her light brown hair shined and how her blue eyes would light up whenever I saw her. When she left, my heart started to ache. Was I already missing her? Was the thought of her too much to handle? I can't do this. I can't sing or be in the band with knowing that she left. That she left me so that I can fulfill my dream. She let me go so I could do what I've always wanted to do. She always believed in me when no one else would. She was the one who kept me going. Did I want to do this? I can stop this and just go to her. We can be together like we wanted. I just needed her. I just wanted to be with her.

I got my phone out and dialed her number. Did I want to do this? I looked at her contact. I saw her name pop up and the photo ID was a picture of us. We looked so happy. So in love. I sighed and put my phone back up. I can't call her. I can't hurt her more than she already was, so I called Spencer.

"Hey dude! You about ready to leave?" He said with excitement.

  "She broke up with me."

"What? Quit lying to me. You two were perfect. Now what's really wrong?"

"She did," I said choking up. "She knew that I would be on the road and she wouldn't get to see me. She told me she had to do it so I wouldn't have to later on."

"I'm sorry, Bren. But I bet you can find someone else," He said.

"That's the thing. I promised her. I promised that I would come back. And I will. For her."

"You know you can't keep a promise like that, Brendon."

"I want to though. I know it was a big promise, but it's one that I'm going to try and keep. I love her Spencer," I said.

"Things will get better, I promise. Now come on. Ryan's up here too, we can all get ready to go."

I looked and around my garage to see if I forgot anything.

"Okay." I said, while zipping my suitcase up and heading toward my car.

I got in and looked back at my house. I look at every detail and suddenly memories started flooding in my brain. It's time to go and explore the world, I said to myself and then left for Spencer's.
