abi grinned slightly as drew held a hand out to her, pulling her up from the log she had sat on to text her friends.
"did you really drink a whole bottle of tequila?" drew questioned, as he wrapped his arm around her waist to help support her.
"maybe." she shrugged. "or maybe it wasn't full to begin with."
"how drunk are you?" he asked, leading her back towards the building the cast were living in. she hadn't actually wandered far from home, only about a 10 minute walk, but being new to the area and clearly intoxicated was no help in getting back.
"i've been drunker." she replied. "i would say i'm drunk enough that maybe i'd dance all up on a stranger at a club, but i wouldn't fuck them yet."
drew choked, coughing slightly to mask his reaction to her words.
"good thing you found me." abi continued, oblivious to the reaction her words had caused. "i was worried i'd be stuck there all night."
"you know austin would never let that happen." drew told her, reaching their building and leading her inside, heading towards the elevator that would take them back to the apartment they shared with austin.
"would you?" she asked, turning to look at drew as they waited. he scanned her face, before shaking his head.
"of course not." he answered, lightly pushing her into the now open elevator. "i found you this time, didn't i?"
"yeah you did." she nodded, watching as he pushed the button for their floor. "thank you."
"any time." abi smiled slightly at his response, and drew felt his heart skip a beat at the sight. he bit his lip, mentally shaking his head at himself.
he barely knew abi yet here he was practically swooning over her smiling at him. he forced himself to return the gesture, hoping it didn't seem awkward.
but little did he know that abi was feeling the exact same way.
