"are you sure you'll be okay on your own?" abi questioned her best friend as they stood at the airport, waiting for the flight to barbados to continue filming. austin rolled his eyes.
"abi, i'm 25, not a child. and you're only gonna be gone for a few weeks anyways. plus i have thena and cieran, so i'm not really alone." he reminded her. she pulled a face.
"i'm just worried about you." she said. austin frowned, linking their fingers and squeezing her hand in what he hoped was a reassuring way.
"why? you know i'll be okay. we've been apart for longer." he questioned. abi shrugged.
"but we were still in the same country." she said softly. "what if something bad happens and we're in different countries?"
"abs..." austin trailed off, pulling her into a tight hug. "nothing bad is gonna happen, everything will be okay. you're gonna have the time of your life finishing filming, and you'll be wishing you didn't have to come back."
"i'll miss you." she mumbled into his shoulder. he squeezed her tighter.
"i'll miss you too." he replied, moving to kiss her cheek. "i love you."
"i love you more." she whispered.
"abi, we're boarding." madison called. abi pouted, pulling away from austin.
"you better text me daily." she warned. he laughed.
"i promise."
"you ready?" drew questioned, joining the duo and taking abi's bag from her. she nodded, taking a step back so that austin and drew could share a quick hug goodbye.
"take care of her." austin whispered, just loud enough for drew to hear. drew nodded.
"of course." he replied. "you know i will."
drew pulled away, reaching his hand out to abi who grabbed it.
"bye aus." abi pouted.
"bye abs." he replied. "go have fun."
she nodded, glancing to drew before heading over to the rest of the cast who were going, and with one last wave to austin they were boarding the plane and ready to fly to barbados.

hey guys!
so i have decided that this book will be ending at 50 chapters, it just feels like the right place to end their story
i do however have two different endings in mind, a happy one and a not as happy one and i need help deciding if i should just choose one or give you guys both so that you can choose for yourself how abi and drew's story ends
let me know which you'd prefer:
1. the happy ending where everyone lives happily ever after
2. the not so happy ending ft a bit of angst but kinda open ended so you can decide what you think happens afterwards
or
3. both so that you can read each ending/choose which one you want to read
