Jai: Manjul. Humara khoon ka rishta nahi hai. Uske parents ne mujhe adopt kiya tha, par mai unhe uncle aunty hi bolta tha. Usse pehle mere parents aur do behene thi. Meri ek behen ki death ho gayi thi mai paida hua usse bhi pehle lekin. Mai ek saal ka tha jab apni family se alag hua. ( Manjul. We aren't blood related. His parents had adopted me but I used to call them uncle aunty. Before that I had my parents and two sisters. One of my sisters died even before I was born though. I was 1 year old when I got separated from my family.)
Avu: Tu adopt ho gaya 1 saal ki umar mein, toh tujhe kaise pata ki teri do behene thi, jinme se ek ki death tere paida hone se pehle ho gayi thi? ( If you were adopted at the age of 1, how did you know you had two sisters, one of whom died before you were born?)
Jai: Adopt toh mai bahut baad mein hua tha. School mein meri aur Manjul ki achi dosti ho gayi thi toh usne uncle aunty ko mujhe adopt karne ke liye mana liya. Aur bas pata hai. (I was adopted a lot time later. In school I and Manjul became good friends so he convinced his parents to adopt me. And I just know it.)
Sid: Teri real family, unko kya hua? ( Your real family, what happened to them?)
Jai: Pata nahi. ( I don't know.)
No one asked him anything further. They were all simply talking with each other. It was around 2 now.
Jaan: Ayaan kaha gaya? ( Where is Ayaan?)
Everyone saw he was not there. Fais immediately stood up seeing Jaan panic and went searching for him. He found Ayaan on the other side of the terrace looking out, lost in thoughts.
Fais: Sher.
Aayan: Bhai, aap yaha? ( Bhai, you here?)
Fais: Tujhe dhoond raha tha. Suddenly bina bataye aa gaya. ( I was searching for you. You came suddenly without informing.)
He messaged Jaan that Ayaan is with him and she immediately replied.
Ayaan: Sorry, batana bhool gaya. ( Sorry, I forgot to inform.)
Faisu went and stood next to him. After sometime he turned towards Ayaan and kept a hand on his shoulder turning him.
Fais: Kya hua hai? ( What has happened?)
Ayaan: Mai jab nahi dikha, tab di ne kya kara? ( When I wasn't there, what did di do?)
Fais: Wo bahut panic mein aa gayi aur dari hui thi. Tujhe dhundne lagi bina kuch soche. ( She started panicking very much and looked scared. Without thinking anything she just started searching you.)
He answered truly, seeing Ayaan was serious about it.
Ayaan: Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aata hai. ( I don't understand anything.)
Fais: Matlab? ( What do you mean?)
He asked though he somewhere knew what Ayaan meant.
Ayaan: Di humesha itni over protective rahi hai. Mujhe usme problem nahi hai, par di ka dar dekh kar mujhe dar lagta hai. Mai bachpan mein unse chupkar unko dekhta tha, lekin kabhi samajh nahi aaya ki woh itna kyu dar jaati thi, aur panic karti thi. Rone jaisi haalat hoti thi. Aur mummy papa, wo humesha business trips par jaate hai par ye nahi pata hota hai kab aayege. Di kabhi unke jaane par naaraz ya dukhi nahi huyi, na wo kabhi is baat se tension mein aayi ki ye nahi pata ki wo kab aayege. ( Di has always been so over protective. I don't have any problem with it, but seeing di's fear I get scared. In childhood whenever I used to hide and watch her, I never understood why would she get so scared and panicked. It would look like she's going to cry. And mom dad, they are always on business trips but we never know when will they return. She never got angry or upset because of them going, neither she ever got tensed on not knowing when will they return.)
