Jaan: Nahi, please nahi. ( No, please no.)
She said, shivering in fear, her mind going back to one incident.
Jai: Jaan, ek baar sun toh le mujhe kya chahiye. ( Jaan, at least listen what I want.)
Jaan: Mai janti hu tumhe kya chahiye. ( I know what you want.)
Jai: Pata hai toh maan kyu nahi leti? Mai itne saalo se dhund raha hu. ( If you know then why don't you agree? I'm searching since so many years.)
Jaan: Nahi, mai nahi manungi. ( No, I won't agree.)
Jai: Kya bachane ki koshish kar rahi hai tu, jo tera hai hi nahi? ( What are you trying to save, something which isn't yours only?)
Jaan: Nahi, woh mera hi hai, mai tumhe nahi lene dungi. ( No, he is mine only, I won't let you take him away.)
Jai was getting angry now.
Jai: MUJHE KUCH NAHI PATA, MUJHE JO CHAHIYE WOH TUJHE DENA HI HOGA. ( I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING, I NEED IT AND YOU WILL HAVE TO GIVE ME.)
He said a bit loudly. This made Jaan angry.
Jaan: Nahi dungi, kya kar loge? ( I won't, what will you do?)
They both were glaring at each other now. On the other side not only Reem, but also Shivin heard everything. Reem knew her fights with Sid, so didn't assume anything, while Shivin didn't know much about them so thought it might a small argument or something. Reem tried opening the door, but Jai had locked it. She knocked on it, but both were too angry to hear anything now.
Jai: Jaan, mai nahi janta tu yeh kyu kar rahi hai, par please samajh, mere liye wo bahut zaruri hai. ( Jaan, I don't know why are you doing, but please understand, its very important for me.)
Jaan: Itni bhi kya zarurat hai, nahi dungi mai. ( How much important is it, I won't give.)
Jai: Jaan, pls.
Jaan: Kyu chahiye tumhe woh? ( Why do you want him?)
Jai: KYUNKI MUJHE APNA BADLA PURA KARNA HAI. ( BECAUSE I HAVE TO TAKE MY REVENGE.)
He finally burst out.
Jaan: Kaisa badla? ( What revenge?)
She asked, calming down. That's when they heard the knocks. Jai went and opened the door.
Jai: Aap sab yaha? Kuch chahiye tha? ( You all here? You wanted something?)
All looked at him in shock, as he acted like nothing happened.
Jaan: Jai, mujhe Ayaan ko check karne jana hai, kal baat karte hai. ( Jai, I have to check on Ayaan, we'll talk tomorrow.)
She said indicating she will hear what he has to say later and left like nothing happened.
Jai: Kuch kaam tha? ( You wanted something?)
He asked again. All three shook their heads and left confused, and even Jai was confused by their behaviour but shrugged it off. Jaan went in her room to see him still awake.
Jaan: Aayu, soye nahi? ( Aayu, you didn't sleep?)
Ayaan: Nahi di, neend nahi aa rahi. ( No di, I'm not sleepy.)
She went and sat near Ayaan.
Jaan: Kya hua hai? ( What happened?)
Ayaan: Kuch bhi toh nahi di. ( Nothing di.)
Jaan: Tum kabhi aise nahi jagte ho. Kuch problem ho toh batao. ( You never stay up like this. If there is some problem tell me.)
Aayu: Mom dad ki yaad aa rahi hai. ( I'm missing mom dad.)
Jaan froze for a second. He never said this before, and she made sure he didn't feel their absence.
Jaan: So jaate hai, bahut late ho gaya hai. ( Lets sleep, its late.)
Ayaan nodded, knowing she is changing the topic. He didn't say anything much as he remembered Faisu's words. He turned to the side and snuggled into her, and she hugged him. She knew he was feeling some danger, and wanted the safety he feels in his sister's arms. They both fell asleep soon. After sometime Jai came there to check on Ayaan, and saw Jaan there, so he went to his room and lied down. By Jaan's words he knew someone is searching for Ayaan, and wants him.
Jai's POV:
Mujhe Mr. and Mrs. Rehmani se badla lena hai, par Jaan kuch batane ko tayar nahi hai unke baare mein. Aur Ayaan bhi khatre mein hai, par uske peeche kaun hai? Aur Jaan aur Ayaan ke kaise relations hai apne parents ke sath? Bas ek baar mera badla pura ho jaye. Aur woh mil jaye. ( I want to take revenge from Mr. and Mrs. Rehmani, but Jaan is not telling me anything about them. And Ayaan is also in danger, but who is behind him? And what relations do Jaan and Ayaan share with their parents? Just once my revenge gets over. And I get her.)

Jai had clenched his fists when he was thinking about Jaan's parents, but it loosened and he smiled as he remembered her.
Jai: Kaash tu yaha hoti mere paas, par mai jald tere paas aane wala hu. Chahe jo bhi ho jaye, mujhe apna badla hi kyu na chodna pad jaye, tere bina mai adhura hu. Hum dono phirse saathme honge. ( I wish you were here with me, but soon I'll come to you. Whatever happens, even if I have to leave my revenge, I'm incomplete without you. We both will soon be together again.)
A tear scrolled down his eye, but he didn't notice it. He was determined to find her, no matter what.
Jai: Kya mai tujhe yaad hu, waise jaise tu mujhe yaad hai? Kya tu mujhse utna hi pyaar karti hai aaj bhi, jitna mai karta hu? Kya tu bhi mera intezaar kar rahi hai, jaise mai tera intezaar kar raha hu, jab mai tere liye mar chuka hu? ( Do you remember me, the way I remember you? Do you love me as much as I love you? Are you waiting for me the way I'm waiting for you, though I'm dead for you?)
He jumped down the bed and went to his bag and took out a locket. He lied back down, smiling as he saw the locket. He opened it, as his eyes became teary but the smile never left his face.
