When Ivy got back to her apartment with Kou and Keigo she felt very tired, and it showed as she was yawning. Kou had picked her up and placed her on his back as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek softly. "Thank you Kou darling." She said tiredly before she nuzzled herself up against his neck

He smiled at her but said nothing as the two of them went up the steps to her apartment. Keigo got the keys to her apartment from her pocket before he unlocked the door. Once it was unlocked and it was opened Kou took her to her room before he slipped off her hoodie so she could sleep. Keigo undid her shoes in the process before they let her lie down and tucked her into the bed. Once she was safely in her bed they shut the door and talked as they were on separate couches.

It was quiet between the two of them for a moment before Kou sat forward with his hands together. "Just what the hell are we getting ourselves into?"

"Bull shit, neither one of us knew that Ivy was a princess let alone one that was disowned from her family." Keigo said in thought "there has to be something going on here."

"But how do we figure out if there is?"Kou asked as he raised an eyebrow at Keigo

"Stay here with Ivy, I'm going to go back to that place and I'm going to find some answers. I'm good at things like that."

Kou nodded his head as he sat up straight. "Alright, I can do that."

Keigo then left and flew back to the manor, it was a rather short flight to it. When he did he knocked on the door only to see the silver haired female from before. "Oh...you're one of the males that is around the princess, you don't have to knock here. You are with her, this will soon be your home."

"I would rather be safe than sorry. I have to ask..was her elder brother Simon body taken care of yet?" Keigo asked with a raised eyebrow

"I...I don't know...the bodies have yet to be dealt with. They are in the infirmary."

"Can you show me where they are? I want to see something for myself."

"Sure, of course."

Keigo came into the manor and shut the door behind him as the silver haired female showed him down to the lower floor where she stayed outside of a room. "Here's the room."

"You don't go in, do you?"

She shook her head no. "I fear for my life that what I did wasn't enough to kill that monster."

Keigo looked at her sadly before he went into the room and saw that sitting up in one of the beds was an elderly male. The elder male looked up from his food and narrowed his eyes at him. "Who are you and what are you doing here?!"

"Apologies sir, my name is Keigo Takami. I am the boyfriend of Ivy Soto, I am merely here to see if I can keep her from dealing with a lot of stress and losing a part of her that she enjoys placing out to others." Keigo said as he bowed his head respectfully

"Ah...I see, so you are with my youngest daughter. I never liked that my wife had gone with the words of the demon king."

"I am one of two, have you heard word of the markings and bracelets that have been making themselves known around your kingdom sir?" Keigo asked

"I have, I had no idea that my daughter had been a part of it. Is she at least happy with you and whomever else?"

"Yes sir, she is always smiling and laughing around him and I. She trusts and cares a lot about the both of us. I came here to see if your son was alive due to your other daughter being stripped of her title and the guards that had been around her stripped of their title...she's being forced in two years to take over the throne if no one older than her shows themselves." Keigo stated calmly
