Chapter Twenty-one

When Keigo left to take his shower, he was rather quick to do so before he dressed himself . He then left out to talk with the king. He wanted to see whether or not Ivy truly needed both of them to be truly happy. When he left the small manor that Ivy owned he flew off to the castle in the middle of the city only to go inside to see that it was rather quiet inside. He walked to the throne room to see the king reading a piece of paper.

He looked up when he saw Keigo. "Ah, Keigo. What can I do for you?"

"I wanted to talk to you about your daughter Ivy."

He raised an eyebrow at him curiously. "What did you wish to talk to me about?"

"I wanted to talk to you about what has been going around your kingdom, the markings that make those from my time and those from a different one collide with your own twisting the lives of your people to those of others from different times." Keigo stated

The king raised an eyebrow at him "What about it?"

"You are aware that the longer we are all here, the longer it'll take to make sure that all of us go back home...and if we are here too long it might end up crumbling the lives of those that were left behind by those that took us from our original time." Keigo stated

"Why now are you stating this to me?" The king questioned

"In my own time I'm known as a pro-hero. Someone who helps people out and keeps peace in the place that I call home. If I stay here I can't do my life job of keeping those people safe that actually look up to me." Keigo said as he placed a hand on his chest where his heart was

"So the fact that my daughter loves you means nothing to you then?"

"I never said anything about not loving your daughter or that her emotions don't mean a thing to me. I'm just looking at the bigger picture here...you see, every time Kou Mukami and I get physically involved with your daughter I feel a piece of myself crumbling away. I lose memories of the life I lived before being here. I don't wish for those memories to fade away, they made me who I am today." Keigo said sadly as he clutched his shirt where his heart was

The king was quiet for a moment before he sighed out "I see, no doubt others have felt the same. Tomorrow I will deal with the issue, for now go back to my daughter."

Keigo bowed his head thanking the king before he flew off back to the manor that Ivy had. Once he went back to the bedroom he saw that Kou had possessively had Ivy in his arms while they had a blanket over the two of them. Keigo sat on the other side of Ivy and brushed his hand against the side of her face softly "I do feel sorry for what is about to happen." He muttered softly

Kou opened one of his eyes to looked at Keigo. "Just where the fuck did you go for three damn hours?"

"I talked with her father...tomorrow may be the last time we see Ivy." Keigo stated

Kou sat up and he looked at Keigo stunned "W-Wait what?! T-That can't be right."

"Don't get too possessive over her, we're not even supposed to be here. Ivy shouldn't have known who we are."

"She's going to be heart broken hearing that we're going to be leaving her." Kou said sadly

"It's for the best that we do." Keigo said with a sigh shaking his head

"Are you certain about that?" Kou asked concerned

"I don't know about you but I have been losing all of the memories that I had of the place I came from every time we sleep with her. I don't want to lose those memories." Keigo stated sadly

Kou averted his eyes "So...it's not just me being a dumb ass...I guess we really do need to keep from her. But who'll get her past the heat she's going through then? She's already linked up with us."

Keigo let out a stressed out sigh before he looked at the blond vampire. "I don't know...and honestly it'll be up to her and her father to figure that one out."

Kou nodded his head. "Fine...alright then. Let's rest while we can before she wakes up."

"Probably wouldn't be a bad idea." Keigo said before he lied down beside Ivy on the other side of her

What neither male knew was that she had already woken up feeling Keigo sitting down by her, she heard everything both male said and it internally broke her heart. By the next day Ivy woke up first and she cut the bracelets she had on her off which burned her as the marking of her family was erased from her. She looked to both males and the marking left them as well. 

Ivy left her room and she got something to eat before she noticed Rose and Joel coming out of the hall into the kitchen. "Well this is a surprise, where's your two lovers?" Joel asked

"What lovers?" Ivy asked sadly as she lifted her sleeves to show that she no longer had the bracelets on her

Joel and rose's eyes widened in shock. "Princess, you are of the age that you'll be in on and off heat you need a lover. Why did you do that?" Joel asked confused

"Today my father is going to end the nonsense that someone started by bringing people from two different times here. My band mates and I are going to have to find different mates to be around. This isn't only going to hurt me...it's going to hurt them too." Ivy said sadly

Neither one of them said anything as Kou and Keigo came into the kitchen and kissed Ivy on the cheek. "So this is where you went, why did you leave us alone in your room?" Kou asked

"Stop playing pretend with me assholes...I know what's going to happen today. Just eat and get your asses ready to leave." She hissed out coldly before she took her food and went onto the balcony to be alone

Keigo and Kou looked at one another sadly before Keigo looked at Rose and Joel. "Do you two know what's going on with her?"

"She knows that she doesn't have a lot of time left with the two of you, she has to mentally and emotionally get herself ready for the split that will happen when you two leave, she has already tied herself to the two of you which means that when you two leave she will become weak and almost instantly feel like she's had a heart attack and stroke at the same time." Joel said sadly

Kou glared at Keigo "See this is why I don't want to fucking leave her! I don't give a damn about my past! I'd rather stay here with her so I know she's loved and cared about!"

"You're an idol and I'm a pro-hero! We have people who look up to us do you want to let them down?!"

"I don't give a fuck about that shit! I care about Ivy and what the hell is going to happen with her! You may not love her that much-BUT I DO! I don't want to go back! At least here I'm not known as a half breed! I'm a full fucking vampire here which is much better than dealing with what I dealt with before!" Kou growled out angered "I can't believe you'd do something so foolish and selfish without thinking about what it'd do to Ivy and me!"
