Things between Lando and I are different. It's like we've gone in this massive loop. To me, our 'relationship' is like a racing track. There's so many corners, twists and turns. On a good day, the race goes smoothly and everything is fine. But on a bad day, the unexpected can happen.

I guess you could call us friends? We definitely aren't as close as we used to be though. Ever since the night of my panic attack, we've been closer. He's always watching my back and checking up on me. I get a message from him at least once a week making sure I'm ok, and letting me know that he's here if I need him.

It's the Turkish Grand Prix today. Every race just makes me excited, because I'm getting closer and closer to my debut with AlphaTauri next year.

I was in the car arriving at the paddock. I was in the car with Will, Daniel and Tom. We drove in slowly and Daniel and I waved at the numerous fans that were standing at the barrier waiting for all the drivers to arrive.

Once the car was parked, I made my way over to a group of fans who were calling my name.

"Hey guys" I smiled, approaching them.

"Isabelle! Can you sign this for me?" a boy held out a McLaren shirt and a pen.

"Of course" I replied, taking the pen from him and putting my signature on the shirt.

"Can I ask you a question?" a girl asked, as I was signing her hat.

"Go ahead" I answered.

"Are you and Lando dating?" she asked bluntly. Straight to the point.

I looked up at her and gave her a small smile. "No we aren't. You guys know that he's with Ava"

I made sure that no one was recording me as I talked, I didn't really want this conversation on the internet.

"Yeah we know. We just saw how close you guys were in the video that was released the other week, and we, along with many others, think you guys are dating. Plus, we haven't seen Ava in a few weeks" another boy responded.

"You guys really think that we're dating?" I questioned, handing the guy his pen back.

One of them shrugged. "We were just hopeful I guess. You guys would make a really good couple, you seem to make each other very happy"

"Lando's a great guy and we're good friends," I said. I don't know if the 'good friends' part is true at the moment, but I had to say something. "Him and Ava make each other very happy"

"But you seem to make him happier. The way he looks at you in interviews, he could never look at Ava like that" the girl said.

I scoffed lightly with a small smile on my face. "Don't tell Lando you guys think that, ok? Lando and I aren't dating"

The girl smirked. "We'll be here to say 'told you so' when you do"

"Right," I answered. "I'll see you guys then"

"Have fun today!" one of the guys said.

"Bye guys" I waved and made my way to the paddock entrance.

"What was that about?" a guy with an all too familiar accent said when he approached me.

"They think Lando and I should date," I replied.

"What's their reasoning?" Pierre asked.

"Apparently we just make each other happy" I shrugged. "And he was looking at me some type of way in the video that was released the other week"

"He was," Pierre smirked.

"You watched it?" I asked.

"Of course I did, you were in it" he smirked. "But he was looking at you. A lot"
