Avoiding

LALISA'S POV

It's been a week since I told my brother about my feelings towards Jennie, and since then I've been avoiding her to no end. Don't get me wrong. It isn't because of that, it's about what happened after the dinner with Bambam.

FLASHBACK

After I said goodbye to my brother, I immediately walk my way to the elevator. I was just about to push its button to open when it dings. 'Oh. Someone came down.' I thought and was just about to enter it but I was shocked when it was Jennie who was inside the elevator.

I look at her surprised. "Where are you going?" I ask her as I went inside. I stop the elevator from closing because she hasn't gone out yet. I frowned when I notice that she wasn't even moving in her place. I was stunned when she took my hands away from the button to stop me from stopping to close the elevator. I look at her while raising my brows. "What are you doing? Aren't you gonna go out?" I ask her but she just held my hand and push the button to her floor. I was just about to do the same when stops me. Again.

"Come to my place." She also talks to me with her cold voice but a little bit softer.

I skeptically look at her but she was just emotionless. "Why? Do you need anything from me? What are we gonna do there? Aren't you supposed to go out?" I continuously ask her.

"You're asking too much." She just tightly held my hand. 'There goes my heart again.' "Didn't you said you wanted to live in my place?" She still has that serious face even though she just casually said that.

"Yeah, I do. But I can't do anything about it now can I?" I just chuckled at her. "Anyway okay. I'll just go and see your place. I've been wanting to personally see this place personally anyway."

As soon as the elevator stops, I was met with her place. What the? The elevator is practically her door already. The hell? this is so cool. I immediately run inside not minding the owner and check out the place. I can literally see the whole city as this building is almost as high as the Eiffel Tower. I mean this is not the most expensive Condominium in Korea for nothing. I continued to look around, I even went upstairs to check what's there, which is two rooms, her master bedroom and the other one is her office. This is not surprising since almost all of the elite's heirs and an heiress are understood to train and take over the company of their parents.

"Lisa!" I was too focused on how amazing this place was that I was startled when she suddenly called my name.

"I'm coming!" I run down the stairs and went to her.

She almost immediately held my left hand. "Don't run down the stairs again. It's dangerous." She said as she settled me down to take a seat on the couch.

'She's too caring and sweet to me.' I blushed at that thought and immediately hide my face away from her. She gave me some food but I refused it since I am still full from the food that I ate at dinner earlier with Bambam.

"Why am I here Jennie?" She lightly stiffens at my question which made me frown. I knew it. She wouldn't ask me here for anything. "What is it?" I softly ask her since I kind of notice how her hands became sweaty. 'Wow. The Jennie Kim is nervous.' I held her hands tighter to make her feel that it's okay.

She looks at me straight in the eyes with so much softness, I was stunned when she caresses my cheeks with so much care. 'The hell is going on?' I stare at her the same and I was surprised at how can someone stare at me with so much love in their eyes. 'Love?' I shuddered at that thought.

I was woken out of a trance. I didn't know-how. How it happened but I just felt her lips on mine. My eyes widen while hers are close, she dove in more asking for entrance, and my heart... it's beating rapidly like all the time when I'm with her but it's different this time. This time it felt like it's beating just for her. I immediately close my eyes and respond to the kiss. She held the back of my neck and pulled me closer and dove her tongue inside my mouth. After a while, we pulled away for air.

"Wha...," I opened my eyes to see her staring already. We were both gasping for air. I was stunned when I saw how her lips slowly lift and formed into a beautiful smile. "What are we doing?" I breathlessly ask.

"Kissing." She said while smiling at me.

I rolled my eyes at her. "I know we are stupid. What I meant was, why are we doing it?" I was about to stand up but she held me tightly and pulled me to her lap. My eyes widened at that action.

"Ehem," I blushed and look away at how I put my hands on her shoulder like it was the most normal thing to do which made her grinned, 'She's smiling too much tonight.' I thought as I rolled my eyes at her. She just chuckled and wrapped her around my waist. "I... I should go home." I said after a while.

She raised her brows at me. "You can stay here." She tightly wraps her arms around mine.

"No, it's fine. I'll just go ho—"

I was interrupted when she suddenly kissed me. Again. This time it didn't take me a second to respond as I have been waiting to do it again. I melted at her kiss and play with her hair. She takes my lower lips and passionately sucks them that made me accidentally moan, She just grinned while kissing me when she heard that and start roaming her hands around my waist and started going down on my neck. She started licking and biting it that made me let out a moan again. I didn't even try to stop since I can't help it as she's making me feel so good. Damn it. I am starting to feel hot. I thought she was gonna go further since it kinda looks like I am not even planning on stopping her, but she didn't. Which I don't even have any idea if I was since I can't think properly. She just pecks my lips and showed me her gummy smile again.

'Fuck that smile. That's what's making me feel insane.' Which is crazy since I can only count how many time she smiled at me since I've known her but tonight she's smiling too much than normal.

I was about to smile at her too when it dawned on me. I just let her kissed me when we don't even have a label and without even confessing towards each other, well that is if she likes me too. 'DOES SHE EVEN LIKE ME?' I was suddenly confused altogether and pulled away from her. I know she's confused about how I'm acting after that amazing kissed we shared but I can't even seem to fathom it.

Am I just a play to her? Why would she suddenly kiss me? I know that I did kiss her back but that's because I like her. But does she feel the same way? Does she know about my feelings for her and took advantage of them? Was I that obvious?

I took a step back when I saw that she was about to take my hand. 'No. Don't touch me. If I'd feel your warmth then I might just let you do whatever you want to do with me.'

"I have to go," I calmly said before I walk away. I felt her moved from her place so I stopped and she did too. "Please don't follow me. Just give me time." I begged and continued to walk away from her.

As soon as I got inside the elevator she's still looking at me. I couldn't even read her expression as her eyes express so much that I don't even know what's what.

'She must be so confused now. But I need to think.'

END OF FLASHBACK

And since that night I started avoiding her. She tried to come and talk to me the past week but I keep on running away from her. Jisoo Unnie and Rosé even ask me what was wrong but I just told them that it's nothing. Of course, they didn't believe me but they didn't interfere and let us deal with our problem. But I'm not even trying to fix it. 'I know I am being a bitch but I don't know how to deal with this.' I pouted at that thought.

I was walking in the hallway on my way to the library when I saw Jennie at the end of it. I immediately sprinted away from there.

'Damn. Until when am I gonna run?' I sigh at that thought but continued to run away from there.
